Chapter 4 ~ Ignoring

†Monday†

*3rd Person POV*
After doing your morning routine and feeding your cat you made your way to school. Mina caught up to you at the gates,
"Hey (Y/N), did you manage to invite anyone to the sleepover?" she asked wrapping her arm around your neck as you both walked into school
"Yeah I managed to get Shinso, and...um........ someone else,"

"Whaaaaatttttt!!?!??!?!?" Mina Tsu and Hagakure yelled at you confused,
"Your letting Monama come to the sleepover!?!" Hagakure questioned.
"That guy hates us!!"Mina shouted so loud that most of the people in the cafeteria glanced at your table with confused faces.

*(Y/N)'s POV*
"I'm sorry I have to let him come, but I promise he won't do anything." I pled trying to convince them to calm down.
"Um.....(Y/N).." Tsu said cautiously, a concerned expression growing on her face.
"Hm?" I asked confused at her sudden mood change.
"Shinso's coming over here..." Hagakure started,
"and he looks PISSED."

*3rd Person POV*
Due to Saturdays events you had been skillfully avoiding Shinso the entire day. He told you not to run from your problems, but it seems that you're bad at taking advice.

"Guys I need to um.... go to the bathroom" you made an excuse as you dashed out of the cafeteria.
"Wait, (Y/N).."Mina trailed off as you ran. Shinso approached the table.
"Where did she go?" he asked bluntly.
"Can't tell bruh, girl code" Mina said crossing her arms.
"Where?" He questioned harshly using his quirk.
"The bathroom" Mina confessed.
"Thanks" he said turning around to head after you.

Your phone vibrated in your pocket. You checked it to see a new message

Shinso:Come out
Read 12:23p.m

(Y/N):You should be at lunch. Food is important.
Read 12:24p.m

Shinso:Come eat with me
Read 12:24p.m

(Y/N):No thanks I'm full.
Read 12:24p.m

Shinso:Are you scared of me?
Read 12:26p.m
(Y/N):Nah, as if.
Read 12:26p.m

Shinso:Then come out.
Read 12:26p.m

(Y/N):Can't, I'm taking a dump.
Read 12:27p.m

Shinso:You feel light-headed?
Read 12:28p.m
(Y/N):🤨??
Read 12:28p.m

Shinso:What was that sound, are you alright!?!?
Read 12:28p.m

(Y/N):What are you talking abou

As you were typing you heard the bathroom door open. Your eyes widened at the sight before you, Shinso entered the GIRLS bathroom with a look of extreme worry on his face. You didn't want to verbally communicate with him but your astonishment took over,
"WHY DID YOU COME IN HERE!?!? GET OUT!!" you shouted shocked at his expression along with his actions.

'Did something happen to him?'

Shinso stared to approach you walking further into the restroom with the worried look still plastered on his face. You turned and attempted to run into the safety of a stall but he grabbed your arm pulling you back causing you to almost fall.
"Woah, be careful" he said as he caught you and picked you up (bridal style),
"I'll take you to recovery girl" he told you walking out the bathroom with you in his arms.

Shinso walked down the halls with you in his arms. People in the hallway looked at you both confused. You lied in his arms quiet, to embarrassed and confused to do or say anything. He continued through the hall turning down an empty hallway.

'Wait.....this isn't the way to recovery girl's office..'

"Um Shinso where are you taking me?" you asked suspicious of what was going on. He didn't answer but instead walked into an empty classroom. He set you down and stood in front of the door.
"Why have you been avoiding me?"he asked a serious look on his face.

'Did he really come in and take me out of the girls bathroom just to ask me this? So all that worry was just an act?'

You took out your phone ready to text him when he grabbed your arm.
"Why won't you talk to me?" He asked.
You stared at him a little shocked by his behavior.
"What are you afraid of?" He questioned squinting at you confused.
You still didn't reply not sure what to say. He stood there for a while looking at you, like he was analyzing you.
"My quirk" he said in realization, a look of understanding and slight bit of hurt making it's way onto his face as he let go of your arm and turned to leave.
"Shinso wait-" you grabbed the back of his shirt looking at the floor.
"It's fine, I understand" he replied flatly.
"No, I'm sorry. I'm not scared of you, I'm just really self-conscious of my quirk." you stated, regretful.

°Flashback°
"Did you hear? Sanka figured out how (Y/N)'s quirk works."
"Yeah, apparently she has to say 'Why don't you' before she makes a command."
"Ha I guess her quirk is useless now"
"Doesn't seem it was useful in the first place, not for a hero anyways." (Y/N)'s quirk was all that the students of Kuse Junior High were talking about.

"Why don't you scream?"
"Yeah, why don't you call for help?"
"Why don't you use your quirk?" the bullies taunted as they continued to fight with (Y/N).
(Y/N) got severely beat up that day but
also nearly killed three students. After this incident (Y/N) switched schools and has been extremely protective over her quirk since then.
°End of Flashback°

"I'm truly sorry, I know how it feels to have people fear you. I wasn't thinking straight" you apologized.
"It's fine having a quirk like ours is hard, being alone, no one trusting you, I get it" Shinso said reassuringly turning around to face you.
"So....can we be friends?" you asked hoping that you were forgiven.
"Sure" he replied.
"I'm really sorry about ignoring you" you apologized once more.
"I already said you're forgiven" he stated.

'Ugh even if he says I'm forgiven still feel bad'

"....close your eyes" you told him. He hesitated at the sudden demand but did as you requested.
"Now open your mouth and bite. Hard." you commanded.
"What.. why?" he questioned confused about what was happening.
"Just do it. Trust me, please" you plead.

Shinso was very suspicious of your strange request but something in him made him want to do what you said. As per your request he opened his mouth and without a second thought bit down. Hard. He quickly opened his mouth and eyes when he felt his teeth make contact with something and heard you inhale sharply. He saw you looking down at your hand which now had a bite mark on it.
"(Y/N) I'll take you to recovery girl-" he started
"It's fine, I feel better now" you reassured him walking past him out the classroom.
"Oh yeah, don't tell anyone about my quirk, friends keep each others secrets" you looked back at him before heading down the hallway.

Omggggg I'm sooooo sorry for being so sloww, this chapter was really hard to write for some reason and it turned out really WoNkeY. Sorry for the slight angst it was not intended, idk what's wrong with me. But anyways next chapter will not have this long of a wait. I hope you guys forgive me.
