Chapter 3: Listen Before I Go

Lance: *Wakes up and yawns* I'm so tired, but it's the day I die. I might as well make the most of it.

(Meanwhile)

Keith: *Was up all night crying* I-I'm so sorry Lance...I didn't mean t-to yell. *Holds up picture of Lance and him* I miss you so m-much. *Cries loudly*

Shiro: *Sighs and knocks on door* Keith? Are you okay?

Keith: No Shiro..I'm not okay..

Shiro: Can we talk about it?

Keith: No..

Shiro: *Opens door* That's too bad. We're talking about it.

Keith: *Looks away*

Shiro: Keith. Tell me what happened between you two.

Keith: I- We got into a fight..

Shiro: Mhm..and?

Keith: He said I was a cheater, even though I was just out with some friends.

Shiro: What did you say?

Keith: I said that...I wasn't cheating on him..

Shiro: And?

Keith: *Looks down* I told him that he's the cheater..

Shiro: Keith! You know that's Lance's sensitive topic! He hates being called a cheater just because he's Bi!

Keith: I-I know...

Shiro: What did he say after that?

Keith: He said he can't handle this and wanted to break up..

Shiro: And you said?

Keith: I said fine...

Shiro: Keith...you have some issues..

Keith: That's not helping Shiro..besides it's your fault. Your the one who died and came back..

Shiro: I did save you guys a tiny bit though..

Keith: Not at that time, but later on yeah..

Shiro: *Sigh* You should talk to him..tell him you're sorry. Tell him that you were a jerk.

Keith: Yeah, but..what if he shuts me out..

Shiro: Exactly..what if? It's a question that can only be answered if you try.

Keith: When?

Shiro: Right now you idiot!

Keith: Now? Are you insane??

Shiro: No! I'm a dead man! Now go!

Keith: *Sigh* Fine..*Walks out of house and drives to Lance's house*

(Meanwhile at Lance's house)

Lance: *Getting everything ready* There! Now all I have to do is leave a note. *Writes suicide note*

Note reads:

I'm sorry mama, for I have done terrible things. Keith and I didn't work out and I couldn't forgive myself for what I said. I miss him dearly, but he hates me. I'm so sorry mama, I wish I could've lived longer to be there for you. My reason for suicide, is because of my heartbreak. I couldn't stand the pain I felt. And now I'm gone, but still with you in your heart. I love you.
