"SOOBIN!" i frantically called out to the boy in front of me

i quickly ran to him, "HAVE YOU SEEN BEOMGYU ANYWHERE?!" i shouted

"i-i'm sorry i haven't-"

"damn!" i mumbled and quickly thanked him before running off

"where is this guy?" i thought to myself, sprinting outside the school

"oh! i know where to look." i thought to myself and ran

i finally arrived, it took only minutes but it felt like hours

i opened the door to the shop and sure enough, there he was

"beomgyu!"

i walked over to the boy sitting all the way in the back, staring out at the window and mixing his coffee with a spoon

i frowned as i saw his actions and the look on his face

"oh...hey t-taehyunnie." he looked up at me with a sad smile

i sat down and placed my hand on his, "hey what's wrong?" i asked worriedly

beomgyu sniffled and looked beside him, "i-i didn't pass it."

my heart dropped, "w-what...?" i asked again to make sure i heard correctly

"I FAILED IT! i-i'm a failure." beomgyu started to cry

"n-no. don't cry, please! you're NOT a failure okay? y-you're perfect, don't let this define you okay?" i looked up at him

"this was my last chance 'hyunngie...i-i don't know what i'm going to do. this test determined everything for me, my future depended on it! we're graduating soon and i have nothing planned now." the older sobbed

taehyun got up and moved to the other side of beomgyu, bringing him into a tight hug, "shh, you'll find something. you're talented, funny, handsome, and so much more. you weren't going to be happy as a business man, i know you weren't. don't give up hope, i know you'll find something." i said softly

i heard him sniffle and embrace me back, "t-thank you." he whispered

i smiled and rubbed his back, "want to come over and watch movies at my house, hmm?" i asked

"mhm!" beomgyu sat up and smiled

i wiped the remaining tears on his face and giggled at his reaction, "okay, let's go then."
i took out some money and left it on the table, then took his hand and led him outside

the two were laying down in taehyun's bed cuddling. halfway through the movie they were watching, beomgyu fell asleep. he was cuddled up into the younger's arms and lightly snoring

the younger smiled at the sight of his life-long best friend. they've been together through thick, and thin for years and years. they helped eachother through every problem either of them faced. they both secretly loved eachother but they kept their feelings to themselves (sadly) to prevent any damage to their relationship

and right now to taehyun,

he couldn't ask for anything more

the boy then kissed the older's forehead and mumbled, "night beom, i love you." before slowly falling asleep
