"h-hyun?'" the other boy questioned in awe, it'd been years since he had last seen taehyun. he missed him...a lot. everyday he'd think about how the boy was doing

was he eating well?

did he accomplish his dream yet?

does he think about me like i think about him?

both of the two's eyes were glossy, tears threatening to fall out. they missed eachother so much and it was a miracle they've ran into eachother

so why were the two just standing there? as if they were strangers

beomgyu was the first one to move closer, his slow steps quickly turned into quick ones, he was now running towards the younger. and soon enough, he was standing right in front of taehyun

the younger boy looked up at the, now taller, and blonde, beomgyu

the blonde embraced the younger, something he-the both of them- had been longing to do ever since he left

"i missed you." beomgyu sniffled

"i missed you more." the younger finally said, wrapping his arms around beomgyu

after a few minutes, the two pulled away from eachother. they stared at eachother for a bit, taehyun then grabbing the blonde's hand and leading him to a bench

"it's pretty here." taehyun smiled

"yeah, it is." beomgyu sighed, looking at the beautiful scenery in front of him

"what are we doing?" the boy sadly smiled, breaking the awkward silence that consumed them

"i don't know honestly, it's just been so long i-" beomgyu was cut off

"it's different." taehyun said, making the blonde flinch

"don't say that!" the blonde warned

"but it's true, beomgyu. we're different now, it's not the same! look at us, we've suddenly bumped into eachother and we're acting as if we're-!"

"TAEHYUN!" beomgyu snapped, making the smaller's tears fall

the blonde automatically felt bad, he scooted closer to the boy and engulfed him in a hug. he mumbled 'sorry' a few times

"b-beom..." taehyun croaked out

"yeah 'hyun?" beomgyu asked

"i'm sorry, i was so stupid just a second ago. but how are you? i've been wondering for a while. i see that you've actually accomplished your dream. i'm happy for you..." the boy smiled

"thanks hyun' i wouldn't have done it without you, you're the reason i'm standing here today, standing here...taller." the boy said winking at the end
