Chapter 7 ~ Fearful

Recap: I saw him...oh gosh....my worst nightmare....

Isobel's POV
Charles?! What on earth was he doing here. I looked at Susie and she was frightened as much as I was. I couldn't keep going with the plans today if Charles was here. I stopped in my tracks when corbyn and Jonah began walking towards them. He turned to me and Susie and tried to get us to go in,I wasn't going in there end of. I was snapped out my thoughts when Susie mouthed to me,"let's go now!" We slowly edged our way out and got into the car. I was so worried we would be caught.

As we arrived, Susie ran out the car straight to my room. As I was locking the car, I got a call from Corbyn.
C=corbyn
I=Isobel
C= hey what happened where are you
I=I am at home but-
*hangs up*
Ugh why did he hang up like that. I never get to explain what's happening. Moments later I see two headlights coming down the road. As my eyes soon became familiar with the car, I noticed two boys in the car, Jonah and Corbyn.

As they parked outside the house, we all walked in, heading towards my room. I stopped and realised that them at my house could end up as them knowing my secret. I stopped them and told them to go to the sofa and wait. I ran into my room where Susie was. I ran in, which is very rare because I wouldn't run, and between breaths said, "Susie hide all music related things and all all Disguise things, corbyn and Jonah are here!" "Wait Jonah is here?!" She said looking away from the phone. "Yes so we need to-" I was cut off with Susie running out the room. Guess I will do it myself then I thought. I began shoving my merch and music books under the bed until I heard a knock on the door. "Is you in there?" "Yes I am out in a minute, I am....er....I'm naked don't come in!" At that I heard footsteps slowly fade as I twisted the knob on my door.

I walked out to see Susie and Jonah sharing a thing of fries which somehow appeared with two Starbucks sat on the side by them. Corbyn was looking at his phone with my favourite kind of drink next to him, mango and pineapple ice tea. I sat down next to him as I sipped my drink finding it hard to make conversation. Corbyn and I made eye contact, we were slowly leaning in for each other, like we has a connection. I was falling for him. I couldn't though. This isn't right,my lifelong motto of no men needed in my life was about to be broken. I couldn't let him in easily. Thankful for Susie, she knew that I was falling for him. She turned to me and pulled me away into a conversation just to avoid the moment. That was close.

As we were saying goodbye , I saw Susie clinging onto Jonah in the corner of my eye. She really likes him, and he likes her. I walked to my room and got my guitar and notebook. All my Disguise and stuff is in this book and I keep it close. I went to the roof, climbing up from the balcony. As I sat there I saw the stars going over my head. This was my place and it was time for me to turn my emotion to song, I started strumming my guitar as I slowly began to pick up words and put them to verses, making a song.

As I played the final chard to my song I was startled to the sound of claps coming behind me. I turned to see Corbyn as I was trying to hide the sheets of paper with my song on and stood up, hiding the guitar behind my back. "How much of that did you hear?" He ignored the question and sat right next to me. I sat down as I looked into the stars. One shot by. "Make a wish." He said to me. I closed my eyes and made the wish, I wish that Susie and Jonah become a thing. As I said it I pulled out my guitar and began to play. As I laid on the tiles I looked up to the sky, so tranquil. I looked to my side to see Corbyn laid down, smiling at me. "If the sky falls I'll catch it just to steal you a star." He said. I leaned towards him and then he leaned in to me. He kissed me. The sparks flew between us as he pecked my lips, my head falling into the crook of his neck. My first kiss. My first feeling of love. It just like a movie. I was in love.
