chapter 1:when it all started

SEKHAN'S P.O.V

Dad:Dear can you accompany me to the annual charity event I would love it if you could come with me.
Sekhan:I answered with no hesitation not knowing where I was going I kinda felt bad of were to refuse after my mother had died but I don't know why ." Yes I will come with you "I gave my dad a tight hug. I went to the mall to go look for something to wear and I found this nice black lace dress and a pair of high heels and immediately bought it.i was seated in a cafe when I received a text from Adam.
Adam :hey babe missing you 😍
Sekhan : 😙 same

Adam was a trained professional bodyguard working for the secret agency. Adam and I have been a couple for over a month. I adored  and st the same time loved him . he was the n best. a few after minutes my phone rang and to my surprise it was him.
Adam:hey beautiful
Me:hie I said blushing . he always sent butterflies in my stomach
Adam: I just wantedto hear your voice 
Me : oh really so you have heard it .I think you should go for work
Adam :really do you want that
Me: y...aa no I don't but if we start talking we will never end. Adam and I started talking and he made jokes and I laughed.  it was about time for me to go back and get ready
Adam: bye love enjoy your night

I arrived home and took a long shower after I changed and wore the dress and put a bit of make  up and took my clutch bag and found my dad on a phone call

Dad:how is my beautiful little princess
Me: dad I'm not little I'm grown up
Dad:I know but you will always be my hero .

We arrived at the charity event and it looked quiet boring because I could not see any one of my age. I started having a bad feeling about coming here but quickly brushed it off . my father introducedme to his friends and some of his associates. it was in the middle of the event when they started playing music and my dad excused himself and every partner's up. I walked towards the bar to get a drink. As I got up my drink playing with my glass as I lookedat the people something caut my eye.

NICHOLAS P.O.V

As I walked around playing with the rim of my of my glass something caught my attention. She looked so beautiful and her dress reviews part of her thighs and showed her smile lit up the whole room . when she was alone I walked towards the bar and decided to talk to her. As I walked towards he she saw me and she looked  deep into my eye

N : hey beautiful (she did not show any feeling as the other ladies I have
S :hey (as she took a sip of wine
N:may I have e honor to dance with a lady like you
S:I doubt u led want to dance with me
N:why do u say dat
S:I'm am very bad at dancing trust me
N:I think I will take my chance (asi laid my hand in front of her
S:okay (as she placed the glass on the table
