"Finally.... Hah... We made it..." I hear Po gasp behind me, obviously out of breath. It had been a long and exhausting walk to get up all orlf the stairs, and I had to carry him half of the way! He stands up, knees trembling as he walks towards the door, only for it to shut in his face.
The doors were closed. We were too late. Cheers erupted from inside the walls as the drummers and musicians played an upbeat theme. I sit down, crossing my tired legs as I watch Po try and get in. Currently he was watching through a small window, as Master Shifu was going on about the Furious Five. Who are they, you ask? A bunch of 'heroes' who protect the Valley, yet all they do is stay up in the Jade Palace, trying to impress their master who has never been impressed since Tai Lung.
I stay there for a while, eventually laying down and staring up at the silver clouds until I hear the sound of a lot of fireworks being lit behind me. "Po, what are you doing!?" I hear Ping say. Standing up and running over, I crouch in front of Po and Ping. "Dad, we just wanted to see the dragon warrior. We wouldn't have made it anyways if we brought the Noodle cart." I whine, before Ping cuts me off. "But you finally had the Noodle dream!"
"It was a lie" Po grumbles
"What?" Ping stands there shocked, his wing over his heart
"Dad I'm sorry." Po mumbles, "BUT I LOVE KUNG FUUUUUUUUUuuuuuuuuuuuuu..." He looks down, sullen at the fact that the fireworks did not go off. I put my paws on my brothers shoulders, about to talk before Po and I are blasted into the sky, fireworks going off around us and the chair no more than grains of ash. Before we begin to plummet towards the center of the arena, I glance at Po, before hitting the ground moments later.
