Being the idiot that I am, I reached up to touch the thing.

Salty ocean water came in a small stream and began twirling around my arm. Strangely, it flowed around as If it were thrashing waves.

It then twirled around my body, then in an instant,as if someone had pulled a string zipping it into the water, it dived straight into the river with the blue trident sign going with it.

Percy just stared at me, and then pulled me into an awkward hug were I didn't hug back and he kept on murmuring ' sister, sister, I have a sister' absently.

After a couple minutes of that awkwardness he pulled me back towards the group. Me and Percy burst through the trees and bushes that surrounded the little camp. Their were eight tents, each of them had someone sitting I or at the opening at them.

Each had a sleeping bag and some possessions of the people inside.

Annabeth was at the head of the tents talking to Grover, the satyr I think is what he's called.

Percy told me to wait at the trees while he talked to Annabeth.

I leaned angrily against the trees and watched as he walked over to her and they began talking. After they talked Annabeth called over the girl named Piper and told her something, then Piper came walking over to me.

I straightened up and she smiled at me "Dont worry, no one here bites, well mabye Grover, but i dont think hed bite you." She laughed lightly at her joked but stopped when she noticed how quiet i was.

Her smile faltered "Well, come on." she said " Well be sharing a tent, then tomorrow well head back to the ship and head off." I nodded.

I had so many questions but it felt like rocks were taped to my bones and i could hardly think straight from my lack of sleep. Her tent was three down from Annabeths and had two blankets in it, one was soft and purple with little blue horses on it and the other was slightly longer and a soft light blue.

Piper handed me the purple one, told me to get some rest, then headed out of the tent.

To tired to protest i took the blanket and snuggled into the corner before falling to sleep.

When i woke up i was still alone in the tent.

It was dark out and i could just slightly see that the moon was high and full from the small opening of the tents flap. It was probably around midnight.

But what caught my attention was the fire right in the middle of the tents line. The kids that caught me were sitting around it and talking. I only made out what the last of their conversation was.

"Alright, so now that that's settled, what are we going to do about the girl." Annabeth was saying.

"You mean Sky? She has a name, you know." Leo said.

I could almost hear Annabeths eye roll."Ok then,Sky doesn't seem to happy here, and we don't know anything about her."

"We know shes my sister." Percy put out.

"Ya, but for all we know she could be, like, half other god or something thats trying to trick us." Jason corrected.

"Well, shes a demigod, i know that." Grover said, and it sounded like he was biting a can.

"Well, she might be on Gaea's side and spying on us." Frank suggested.

"Well, shes only my age, and what could Gaea do with a thirteen year old?" Hazel asked.

"Well, shes Percy's sister, and as far as we know the only daughter of Poseidon there is." Piper said and i almost growled. She had seemed cool at first but now she seemed more like a bitch.

"Maybe we should just pack up and leave her, shes asleep right? She was doing fine on her own before we found her, and she doesn't seem to trust us, so it wouldn't be a problem to just leave, plus it would be easier and we would be taking less of a chance if she really is a spy." Grover said and i frowned. Maybe these guys aren't as trustworthy as i thought.

"Well, she wasnt exactly doing fine, she was barely eating any food and she was half dead when we finally caught up to her." Leo cut in.

"Plus, shes my sister and I'm not leaving her." Percy said.

Annabeth sighed "Well, we should all get some sleep, we can take her to camp and hopefully theyll take care of her." And with that they all stood up, said goodnight and put the fire out.

Piper opened the flap of the tent and i closed my eyes. I could feel her look at me and then take her blue blanket and go into the other corner.

I made my choice.

After a couple of minutes i heard her breathing slow and knew she was asleep. I slowly sat up and looked around.

These people were not to be trusted.

For a second i contemplated taking the blanket but decided against it. It could have some tracking device on it or something and it would be a little mean to take it. I grabbed my pack and took out the kitchen knife.

Holding it firmly in my hand i put my pack on my back and opened he tents flap. The embers of the fire still held a crisp smell and smoke lightly jittered away from the pit. The light sounds of insects made the forest surrounding look and smell peace full.

Annabeth sat on gaurd duty next to the fire pit. Her back was to me and she poked at the dead fire with her dagger, amking it blaze and fall slightly.

I silently slipped out and sneaked into the forest. I made it past one tree and was finally gathering up some hope when i stepped on a twig and it snapped. I stopped dead and slowly looked back.

Annabeth was standing now, her posture straight and alert. "Who's there!?" she called out. She couldn't see me, but i still didn't dare move.

I got excited when she didn't walk towards the woods, i thought i could still get away, but then she called out again, and Percy and a couple others started coming out of their tents.

I tensed, just waiting for the shout, and then it came. " Sky is gone!" Pipers voice called out from her tent.

Everyone turned back to me, and it felt almost like Annabeth and i made eye contact.

And then i ran.
