Rio couldn't believe the new girl caught him staring at her . This has never happened before , she must have been very observant he thought . Yes to clarify he'd stared at multiple girls but they've never payed attention nor did he make a move or slip out a few hey's now and again .

It all just seemed meaningless. He probably didn't stand a chance with them anyways . The girls he liked were most likely into jocks but Charlotte seemed different but he wouldn't be surprised he had her all wrong and he wasn't willing to take the risk of having his heart shattered .

Speaking of Charlotte,Rio had stared to notice a lot about her this past week. She wore dark colours . She was never in a group or crowd , she always sat alone in the cafeteria, which was understandable to him because he wasn't a people person .

She always had headphones on so often it was like a accessory she even had them on every time when Haley would go on and on about Justin or when Mrs Grace spoke . Of course headphones weren't allowed in class but she switched to black earphones and hid them in her hair

He always saw her taking them out immediately after she had existed class . Right now he was staring at her taking some books out her locker . You'd think he'd learn his lesson but he hadn't . He just couldn't help himself, he just found her more and more breath taking every day

My friend , Jace had shortly joined me on the bench " Hot isn't she " he whispered smirking devilishly as I nodded with a blush creeping up on my face " If she's hot why aren't you talking to her?" I shook my head " You know very well I'm incapable of doing that" I whispered angrily

he looked at me in disappointment

" What ?" " Is this how your gonna live your life , meet a cute girl that could possibly be your type but your too shy to make a move - he paused - dude it's our second last year of high school " Maybe he had a point " Maybe your right " I said keeping my gaze on her

" I'm always right " he said flipping his hair in a feminine way . I rolled my eyes " but then again its easy for you too say because look at yourself man , your the full package. You are a blonde haired , blue eyed jock "

" You don't have to be a jock to win a girls heart . Tell you what , why don't you write her a letter ?" A letter ? " Why can't I just text her like a normal person ?" " Bold little fella aren't ya " he said , what was he getting at

" and how exactly do you intend on getting her number , hmm?"  He said crossing his arms with a smirk on his face " I didn't think of ... that "
