CHAPTER TWENTY FIVE

Jawahir went back to her room thinking of  what hafsa and basma told her comparing what they said and trying to find a solution.she stood up and took her bath then dressed up in a tummy skinny jeans pearrd with a crop top,then stretch her hair and pack it into a loose ponytail then wore a kimono and veil before going down stairs. She has already finish making dinner so she has nothing to worry about.she close all the Windows the incensed the house with turaren wuta,the house was smelling very nice from bakhoor.

Jawahir clean the small room downstairs and set a table for two then switch of the light and lit some candles. The atmosphere was smelling so nice and romantic "good job jawahir" she muttered to her self. just in time a knock came through the door she almost run to the door but she manage to control herself with a peptalk.she walk to and peep through the peephole and there stood the man of her dream,the guy she's been planning all those surprise for. She was about to open the door when basma walk to the parlour and sat on the chair crossed leg.she removed her kimono and turned to basma with a smirk,basma was stunned to see jawahir like this the she open the door.

"Hey babe,what took you so long"he said while engulfing her in a hug basma felt like a knife is being stabbed in her heart. Before she could answer he looked at her from head to toe lingering the look in some part of her body his mouth agape as he move very close to her and mutterd "you look ravishing masha Allah"he said placing a chaste kiss on her forehead as she duck her head down blushing profusely. He walk in and close the door she collects his laptop bag and took it to his room then come back to find him settle on chair as she walk in basma stood up and left the room because she can't take this shit any more (her words not mine). Jawahir walk to the kitchen and brought him a glass of water then sat next to him on the sofa.he muttered a thank you and drain down the water.

"Go freshen up I have a surprise for you"jawahir said in a low voice.

"I love surprises"he replied in thesame manner  she couldn't help but laugh.

Muhammad came down after freshening up dressed in a black sweat and black v neck shirt.he check jawahir's room and she's not there so he quickly went downstairs as he was ever to see the surprise,few months back if you tell him he will ever fall irrevocably in love with jawahir he'll never agree but now alhamdulillah see where they are.he entered the parlour and saw her talking on the phone so he sat beside her and allow her to finish,she bid her farewell over the phone.

"Let's go"she stood up and he follow her.

They enter the room which was lit with candles but it's not too dark as they could see each other, Muhammad was stunned by her surprise as he thank Allah in his mind for giving him a wife like her.

"Wow I didn't know I have a romantic wife,a candle light dinner I am so proud of you babe the room looks and smell very nice" he said inhaling the sweet scent of the room while jawahir was blushing.

"Glad you like it,come sit"she usher him to his seat and he sat down.she served him and settle down as they eat in silence when they finish eating they sat down on the carpeted floor enjoying each others company in the silence and ended up cuddling.

"Jawahir"he called and she answered with a hmm then he continue "I am sorry"he sad with sincerity in his voice,jawahir detached from him and look at him then ask "for what"

"For everything jawahir for everything,when ever we are together the guilt of what I have done to you always eats me up,it  breaks my heart  when  I remember all those hurtful words I said to you how sometimes I often push you to the wall but you manage to control yourself and I took your silence for granted which i ought not to, I know there is no acceptable excuse for the way I behaved I was so blinded by the anger I had toward my ex that i vent all my anger and frustration on you forgetting that you are also forced into this arrange marriage,I wish I could go back in time to undo all the wrongs I have done,i wish I could erase the memory of how I made you cry,I deserted you when you needed me the most,jawahir I know I'm not worth your forgiveness but I will still apologize and I hope you will find it in your heart to forgive me,I promise to make everything right"by the time he finish jawahir was already in tears thanking Allah for giving her a husband like him "don't cry please"he added wiping her tears.

"I thought we have past this phase I have long forgiven you Ya moh May Allah forgive us all"she said as he wipe her tears before engulfing her in a hug.

"What did I tell you about calling me Ya moh"he said as they release each other feigning seriousness.

"Sorry how about mai gida"she said with a grin and he gave her a poker face.

"I can as well call you uwar gida"he said and they burst into laughter "Let's dance" he said as he stood up and he stretch out his hand for her.

They dance to the tune of singing out loud by ed sheeran.

They kept dancing to the rhythm of the music,Muhammad looked at jawahir in the directly in the eyes then his eyes flicker to her lips then back to her eyes before muttering "may I" and he took her silence as a yes as he sealed their lips together in the most lingering slow kiss,promises were made,unspoken words were exchanged and hidden feelings were felt.

Mainwhile basma felt like she was about to die as jealousy hit her while she stood peeping through the window she went back to her room and start destroying things crying as she throw her phone on the tiled floor destroying it,she cried herself to sleep.
