"Elisia, I'm thirsty, Can I have some water please before I go to sleep?" Paris asked looking at me with her tired eyes.

"Sure. I will get if for you, one moment okay?" she nodded before I left her room to grab a cup from the kitchen filling it with some water. I took a look at the clocked in the kitchen. Mr. Jackson should be home soon.

"Here you go" I handed Paris the cup and waited for her to finish it.

"Thank you Elisia" She smiled at me before carefully drinking her water.

"I know daddy will be home soon, please tell him I love him" Paris looked at me all serious.

I giggled a bit before answering "Of course sweetie, but I'm sure daddy will go check on you guys before he heads to bed"

"I know but I'm sure I will be sleeping by then and daddy never wakes us up because he says our sleep is very important" She finished drinking her water before handing her cup to me.  Paris is such a sweet and smart girl, all Mr. Jackson's children are. The bound they have together is simply beautiful and so strong. You can tell they love each other so deeply. I sighed getting sad at the thought I live alone with no family.

"It's time to sleep now" I tucked her in and put on the little light shaped like a moon that was placed beside her bed.

" Goodnight Paris, sweet dreams" I smiled at her.

"Goodnight Elisia," She said and then placed a kiss on my cheek. My heart melted at her sweet gesture.

...

"Hey... wake up," A soft voice said while softly nudging my shoulder.

"Mmh?" I mumbled still half asleep. Then I heard a giggle before the voice spoke again.

"You fell asleep, you can go home," He said with such a sweet voice. I took me a few seconds before I finally recognized the voice.  I quickly got up and was soon met with those beautiful brown eyes.

"Mr. Jackson... I'm so so sorry. This so unprofessional of me. It won't happen again."I stumbled over my words as I felt so embarrassed but when I met his face again he was smiling at me.

"Hey calm down it okay. Things like that happen, besides much worse things have happened with my previous nanny's" He said as a hint of sadness appeared on his face. I looked down feeling bad for him. "I'm sorry about that. I promise you that I'm not like that... I know they all probably said that but you while see I'm being honest with you in some time" I smiled at him before getting up.

"Thank you.. uh, Elisia right? I'm sorry I'm bad with names in the beginning" He scratched behind his ear.

" Yes, It's Elisia"  I searched around the room looking for my bag. I found it hanging on a chair in the kitchen.

" Well, I'm gonna call a cab so I can go home "

"No wait" He came closer to me.

"Would you like to stay for a little longer? You know, we haven't really got the chance to talk and get to know each other better" I studied his face for a while, he really looked like he could use some company as he looked at me with almost a begging expression.

"Sure" I replied as I put my bag down again. He smiled at me and then lead me back to the living room.  We sat down next to each other on the couch, I turned my body around a bit so I could look at him.

"How was your day Mr. Jackson?" He laughed softly as he scratched his face.

"Please call me Michael, Mr.Jackson makes me sound old" I laughed with him. "I'm sorry Michael"

"Much better" He giggled.

"My day was very busy. I'm working on my new album as you may know"

I nodded "Yeah you told me that when I first came here. I'm can't wait to hear it!"

"Once It's done you will be the first one to receive a copy"

"That's sweet thank you" I looked at Michael for a moment before I spoke again.

"Your kids behaved like little angles again today" I smiled thinking about how sweet they are.

"Oh and Paris told me I had to say she loves you"

Michael looked at me and the expression on his face got me emotional. He started glowing the moment I mentioned them. He was such a wonderful father, there are people who are meant to be a parent and he is one of them.

"God, they always say the sweetest things! I love them so much" He smiled so brightly and then looked at me again. He held my gaze for a moment, I got a bit uncomfortable by the way he was looking so deeply in my eyes.

"And how are you?" Michael asked still looking at me. His question caught me off guard as he asked it so randomly.

"I- uh I'm fine" I nodded trying my best to fake a smile.

I expected him to say "good" and then continue talking about something else. Like always. How many people actually truly wanna know how you are? It almost like it's just a conversation starter. but he didn't, he held my gaze again and softly put his hand on my shoulder for a few seconds.

"Are you really?" He gave me a sympathetic look.

"Why?" I said and started to play with the cuffs of my sweater nervously.

"Because your eyes tell you. Eyes don't lie."

"I'm just having a rough time... but don't worry I will be fine" I sighed and hoped that I would really be for once.

"I'm sorry Elisia, you can always call me okay? I know I'm technically your boss, but that doesn't mean I don't care and look out for you"

I smiled and tried to hold back tears. Hearing words like that was rare to me.

"I will give you a pay raise so..."

I cut him off before he could finish his sentence.

"No no! That's not necessary! You pay me more than enough and besides, I'm not here for your money. I do this because of the love of my job" I explained

"I know! And that's why you deserve it. Please accept it, so you can treat yourself a little extra this month" Michael looked at me with such a sweet expression.

I sighed in defeat

"Okay, but only this time! And I'm serious"

"Only this time" He smiled
