I. Life - RM
I liked the sound of the song. For me, my favorite quote was:
Even light is treasured more when there's darkness The sunshine appears after we've passed through the storm
There's bad days and good days (and in-the-middle days) in everyone's life. Oddly enough, and for some reason, it's the bad days that make the good days even better. Like, having a shitty week but one good day makes that day taste sweeter. Don't get me wrong, shit is still shit, but it makes me appreciate the good more because I know it can't last. Vice versa too, I guess: The bad days don't last forever either. Still, I feel selfish for wanting only good days— but I understand that life ain't like that, chief.

II. So Far Away - BTS
I'm not gonna lie... I wasn't the biggest fan of the sound... but man, the lyrics hit home. I can't even pick which one is my favorite line. Although many people share a lot of the same insecurities, the solidarity stays.

I know I'm not the only one who feels like they're falling behind in life— as if there's some strict manual for it that everyone must obey. People have different wants and goals. But we all need a purpose, a dream to chase or whatever, and I don't know what's mine. And it's so frustrating and unnerving to have no idea where to go. But I'm not the only one feeling that way, so I shouldn't feel so alone. And yet 😳
I'm glad the song ends in a positive note. To paraphrase, " I'm not okay, but I will be."
