It had been two weeks since the disappearance of Izuku Midoriya and Momo Yaoyorozu was having trouble keeping the peace. Everyone was so tense, lashing out at each other for the littlest of things. She sighed softly and stirred her tea. The kitchen, normally filled laughter and conversation, was almost silent.
The only sound came from the spoon clinking against the sides of her silver mug. Momo was bored, this was probably a good thing since that meant there wasn't any fighting going on, but she was bored nevertheless. Class had been canceled and the exact time for its continuation hadn't been announced yet. Students were told to use the opportunity to finish any outstanding homework they had. Iida had been the only one seen obeying this. Normally Momo would obey too but she was too busy keeping everyone else sane. She sipped her tea slowly. It was a warm cinnamon flavour. Cinnamon. It reminded her of the missing student. Often the girls would call him a 'cinnamon roll'. Momo assumed this was because he was sweet. She placed the tea back down on the counter despite barely taking two sips. She suddenly didn't feel like drinking it anymore.
She heard quiet chatter coming towards the kitchen and turned her head towards it. Uraraka had finally come downstairs. A small smile appeared across Yaoyorzu's face that faded quickly when she noticed how red her classmate's eyes were. Holding the pink cheeked girl's hand was Tsuyu Asui.
"Hello, Would you two like some tea?" The dark haired girl spoke gently "I have plenty to share"
There was a small somewhat awkward pause. Asui looked at her best friend, waiting to hear her opinion first.
"No, I'm fine..." Uraraka's voice was soft and a little croaky, she obviously hadn't spoken in days and it trailed off as if she was thinking of something else.
Yaoyorzu looked at the frog like girl, waiting for her answer next. It was important for her to not repeat herself. She mustn't ever sound rude.
"I'm not in the mood either, thank you for asking though" Came the response
The frog-like teen was clearly going though a lot. Momo admired her for looking after her friend. The two girls then exited the kitchen, heading towards the living room probably to watch a Ghilbi film. She noticed how blank Uraraka's eyes seemed and her chest suddenly felt heavy. Those bright awe filled eyes were gone and would only come back if Midoriya did.A/N
