Tris p.o.v
when we arrived at my apartment I went inside to get Eric along with Tobias and Christina. I knew that he would not date lay a hand on me around them. I knocked on the door harshly enjoying being able to boss around Eric. I knew I was going to be punished later but I didn't care. He opened the door with an instant frown then when he saw that we had company he plastered on a kind hearted smile, wrapped his hand around my waist and started to dig his nails into my waist.
Eric:I didn't know my wife picked these two pieces of crap up in my car and then bought you to my residence but it's great to see you.
Christina and Tobias were both quiet but Tobias was staring with narrowed eyes at his hand on my waist, I smiled at him to try and reassure him but he looked at me with disbelief in his eyes. A tear slid down my cheek and that confirmed to him that I wasn't okay. I quickly wiped it away and then said
Tris:Eric you remember Tobias Eaton and Christina. We are going to stay at Zeke and Uriah's mansion for the summer break from ok m work. Remember I told you about it this means bring.
Eric: Oh ya, I usually zone out when I hear about your so called friends. Anyway I'm coming to make sure your idiotic friends don't kill you.
Tobias: Well good to see you too Eric. Oh by the way, we are not idiots we love Tris even more than you.
Christina: Yeah so SHUT the duck up.
Tris: Christina the expression is, well, never mind. Guys let's stop and just go.
Eric gave me a frustrated expression and I'm pretty sure that by now I had a bruise in my hip.
Eric: Oh sorry Trissy but I have a meeting in Amsterdam and I have t ok be there for three weeks. could you drive me to the airport alone. It is not a question
he said the last part quietly but judging by the expression ok on Tobias's face I think he heard it,
Tris: okay honey I'll be fine. Bye I love you.
He just got out of the car as if he hadn't even heard me.
Tobias smiled at me and I looked down.
Tobias: guys maybe we should unpack you can choose your rooms.
