Ling's POV
Drip, drip, drips. My own reflection starring back at me. Quietly sipping my tea wondering; will i meet my soulmate one day. We live in a world where we are destined to be connected to our soulmates by 'red strings'. Unfortunately, i am still patiently waiting for the time to come. Will i ever meet my soulmate eventually? Who knows?
A peaceful morning, when i arrive a small cafe, for honey tea, before heading to school.
On the way there, i bumped into my best friend, Shauna.
"Hi, Shauna" yelling to get her attention. "SHAUNA FOR GOD SAKES, ANSWER ME!"
"Huh? Oh, hey, Ling." She finally replies back. If looks could kill.
"Want to walk together?"
"Nah i want to walk separately."
"Ah shout up." With saying that, i hear a light chuckle from Shauna.
"Lets go"
*A few minutes later*
We enter the school. Bland. Continuing heading to our small, but dramatic group.
"Hey, guys." I say towards; Chris, Callum, Kieran T, Kieran F, Jack, Jess, Josh, Safeena, and Stewart.
"Hey Ling, Shauna" Jess replies with a nice, pleasant tone.
Having our casual conversation before the bell rings.
"Oh yeah, there are two new students, i also heard that both of them are males." Jess states enthusiastically. "They maybe your soulmate."
"Oh shush." I casually say. I turn to see Shauna having a conversation with; Chris, Tuck, Jack, Josh, and Callum. Whilst Filcher, Safeena, Jess, Stewart and I have a 'nice' conversation.
*Lunch Time*
The 'reject' group's lunch table is at the back. Casually talking to one another. Jess, Safeena and I are talking. Josh and Chris are talking. Jack and Callum are arguing with eachother over the littlest thing, literally they were fighting over a seat every single day. Whilst Stewart, Tuck and Filcher are with eachother.
"Um, hi. Are these seats taken?" A boy our age asks. Pointing at the three empty seats between Chris and I.
"Hmmm, sure" Chris finally answers after a awkward silence. They both sit at two seats but a leave the seat where Shauna is sitting. But where is she?
"Names Kieran and this is Daniel." The guy sitting next to me states.
"Hi, names Ling, these are Jess, Safeena, Callum, Jack, Stewart, Kieran, Kieran, Josh, Chris, and Sha- Where's Shauna?"
"She went to the toilet about 10 minu- Wait she shouldn't she be back right now?" Chris states.
"What's your last name?asking, Kieran?"
"Dixon."
"So we have Filcher, Dixon and a Tuck, ok."
