it was a long day, you had finally come home after being out all day, your housemates' dogs would not leave you alone. they must have missed you. usually after a long day you would just lay down and watch some tv but today you decided to go through your instagram message requests, being decently famous on instagram made it hard for people not to message you. something caught your eye as you where scrolling down all of your requests. you noticed one of your old friends, jeon jungkoooks account trying to message you. you opened it to a nice, humble message.

"hey y/n! long time no talk! :') how has life been treating you? i miss you heaps! should get back in contact (:"

a smile was immediately brought to your face as you replied with

"wow! hey kookie, ahah i haven't called you kookie since year 9, which was when we stopped talking because you had to move unfortunately, life has been going pretty amazing. also i agree! id love to get close again. what have you been up to?"

you put your phone down, not expecting a reply straight away. but to your surprise he actually responded straight away

"life's been super busy recently, i have actually joined a k-pop band, bts, there are 6 other boys and they're like brothers to me. hey my birthdays in a few days actually. would you like to meet up for lunch? we can go to that restaurant we always went to as kids because surprisingly that's still there!"

you don't think you have ever been this excited in your life. but a boy band? wow! kookie never was into that stuff

"id love too! i'll meet you there on saturday night at 6. can't wait to see you!"

you didn't know whether to feel nervous or excited. but you already had my outfit ready.
you told your housemate that you were going to spend some time with an old friend on the weekend and you may not come home until decently late.
