//CJ's P.O.V.//
We were almost there. Atlantis is a beautiful place with amazing people. The past years have been great. Kida showed me her favourite places and one secret place that became my hiding spot. I would always go there when I'd want to see the whole picture of the people doing their everyday chores and sometimes pull a few pranks on them. I smiled and a slight chuckle escaped my mouth not being unnoticed by my brother and his girlfriend. They are really cute together and Mal's really pretty. Now that she's got that tattoo on her cheek, her hair looks bomb. Though her bangs hid a portion of her face, I guess that makes her look more mysterious than she is. Her and I could be really good friends. She's adventurous just like me and she could be my partner in crime for pulling pranks on my brother. And maybe Uma would help us too. She'd definitely be amused. Poor Harry! I've got some mischievous tricks up my sleeve. I continued laughing and I guess Mal understood my way of thinking that she started chuckling too.
**What are you two laughing about?** asked Harry curious and clearly annoyed that he didn't get it.
**Oh, nothing much. Just thinking of the things I want to show you when we arrive.** I half-told the truth. I did want to show him the mechanisms Kida mentioned before but I do want to convince Mal and Uma into helping me.

//Kida's P.O.V//
**Talking about arriving, here we are!** I spoke turning towards them waving at the view now behind me. Two men approached us and stayed by my side.
**Welcome to Atlantis!**

Mal, Uma and Harry were clearly in awe to finally see my home.
The two men bowed before me.
**Your Majesty! Welcome home! How was your trip?**
**Thank you! It was exhausting but I had the pleasure to meet my friends. I will take them to the palace for a few hours so they can settle. Announce everyone of their arrival. Tonight we celebrate!**
**Yes, Your Majesty!**
Before they left they made one more bow to Mal and her friends.
**This place is more beautiful that I've imagined.** Harry replied.
**Come on. We're going to eat, then I'll show you your rooms. You are free to go around but tonight I must introduce you to the Atlantians.**
The four of them followed me to the palace. I have provided each one of them with a room near mine and near CJ's. After that I left them and went to talk with my father.
**They told me you've arrived.** He was happy to see me.
**I have missed you, father! How are you feeling?**
**Everything is good for now. So tell me, how are they?**
**They are really nice people.**
**How is she?** He's talking about Mal.
**She is really smart, adventurous and cunning. Just as she was when she'd visitted us. She is more mature now.**
**So is she truly the one who will break the curse?**
**I trust that she will save us all, father.**
**I pray that your words are true. Tonight after the celebration, bring them to me. And the younger one too.**
**Calista Jane?**
**Yes. She got involved the moment she went after you. Her and her brother have something that connects them. A special bond that helps them always find their way to each other. Like Mal and her friend, Uma..and like yourself and Mal.**

You have reached the end of the first book. "The Bones of the Cursed" - Desire. This book tells the story of the three friends on their way to The Lost City of Atlantis. The second book, "The Song of the Lost" - Dark Waters will be telling their story after they arrive in Atlantis. Friendships will be tested, Sacrifices must be made, Mal, Uma and Harry are Atlantis' only hope of breaking the curse. Will one be ready to sacrifice their desires in order to save everyone? (The ones who forget the past, are condamned to repeat it.)
