The fallen destiny

Here's an extra long chapter since I haven't been around for a while. Also, a good tip for if you write a story. Always look up your followers. They may have a good story too. Shoutout to @Rubyfanguy12. He's got an awesome Ruby X Reader story. So if you want something to read while I complain about my not so bad life (Cuz I'm an ass) I highly recomend his story. Anyway, here's the chapter. Enjoy!

(POV: 3rd)

Russel Thrush runs away from some explosions on the arena he jumps and ducks behind a rock. Penny spins her swords and throws them at it. She lifts throws some more swords at Sky, who also ducks behind a rock. Penny looks back at Ciel, who taps on her watch. Penny focuses back on her enemies. She moves her hands into the air and lifts the rocks using her swords. She slams them down on the ground and the buzzer sounds.

Oobleck: And victory goes to Penny and Ciel of Atlas!

Penny: Thank you for a wonderful time!

Russel sticks his hand out and a rock hits him on the head. You and Ruby run to where Penny is.

Ruby: PENNY!

Penny: Ruby! (Y/N)!

She tackles both of you seeing as you were standing behind her.

Ruby: why?

Penny stands up and you stand up to. You help up Ruby and Penny points to Ciel.

Penny: This is my teammate!

Ciel: Ciel Soleil. (Bows)

Ruby: Hi! I'm Ru-

Ciel: Ruby Rose. 15. Hails from patch. Leader of team RWBY. Status: Questionable. (Y/N) (L/N). Also 15. Hails from... Unknown. Member of team RWBY. Status: Not dead.

(Y/N): So... alive?

Ciel: No. Not dead.

Ruby:... So... Penny! You two were incredible out there! How do you keep control of all those swords? It's so cool-

Ciel: Penny. I believe it is best if we move on to our next location.

Penny: Could we have just a minute to talk?

Ciel backs away a few steps and nods.

Ruby: So... is she your friend? Or...

Penny: Well, in a way, she's like Blake. But if Blake was ordered to spend time with you.

(Y/N): So basically Weiss.

Penny: Precisely!

Ruby: Does she know about... You know... (does robot) beep boop bop, does not compute?

Penny: Oh no, General Ironwood doesn't really want anyone to know. There was an incident with a magnet but I was able to play it off. It stuck to my head and I had to wear a sunhat. It was really windy outside that day, but I still managed to keep it on!

You all laugh for a second before Penny continues to speak.

Penny: Ruby, (Y/N). There's something I've been wanting to talk to you about.

She looks back at Ciel who is still looking at her watch.

Penny: I want to stay at Beacon!

Ruby: Penny, they'll never let you do that!

Penny: I know. But I have a plan!

(Y/N): And you'll be able to execute it. I promise.

Ruby notices the look of seriousness and determination in your eyes. She noticed this when CFVY fought yesterday. She wanted to question you, but Ciel interrupted her thoughts.
