-Kota's POV-
"Kota I am home!" My mom screams loudly.
"Hi mom!"
I rush to put on glasses and jog downstairs to greet my mom. Grabbing the groceries from her I don't pay attention as she talks about some new neighbors across the street. Packing the groceries and kissing her on the cheek I run back to my room to finish my homework. Looking out the window for a second I notice it's actually nice outside, instead of being locked up in my tight room I could be at the diner helping Luke, North, and Uncle. Pushing my glasses up my nose with my pointer finger, I notice a moving van in my neighbors driveway across the street. Watching as a very beautiful girl with dirty blonde hair walks to the van and picks up a suit case. And I notice another girl with black hair walk out, that most be her sister! Oh gosh I better get to finishing my homework later I need to go to Victors house for another meeting about the Ashley Waters High mission we are working on. Carefully pulling my window blinds down I go back to my bean bag and pick up were I left off on my homework. Not to long later my phone beeps which means it's time to leave. Hooping off the bean bag and putting on my shoes I rush downstairs to my car and turn on the engine, not without of course looking at the house across the street hoping to catch a glimpse of the blonde haired beauty. Not seeing her with a sigh I start up my car and turn on the radio. 10 minutes later I pull up to Victors huge house and park next to 8 other cars. Opening up the door to Victors mansion house I walk up stairs without care as I think about the girl. I wonder what her name is, if she is nice, and the most if she would be interested in me.
I hear "Oy! Quiet complaining Kota is here." followed by a light thud and a scream.
I chuckle and shake my head. I feel sorry for who ever got hit on the head by Gabriel, it actually really hurts. Walking in I take a seat on the floor around the table and wait for Mr. Blackbourne to clear his throat and start the meeting so everyone can quiet down.
"First order of business, everyone report to me how the mission is going so far with the Ashley Waters school."
I tune out everyone as they talk about the mission. Mr. Blackbourne is so formal even with us and we are his family. We aren't physically his family though, we all work in a secret school called The Academy, we get trained for fights, get a lot of missions, and meet new people. In the academy the group you work with is technically your family, and we always put family first. No we don't do things like sell drugs, we are the people that stop harmful drugs from being sold.
"Kota...earth to Kota!"
"Well it seems that everyone is still on track with the mission so we will end this meeting." "Everyone get home and get some rest we have a busy day tomorrow."
- Original Time-
It's raining tonight, and let me tell you I hate rain. I can't stand sleeping when there is too much noise, and I need my sleep so I can survive the first day of Ashley Waters tomorrow. With a loud sigh I swing my legs over my bed, walk to my desk and put on my glasses. Might as well do some homework since it seems I won't be getting any sleep tonight. Turning around I turn on the lamp and walk to my window blinds.
Crash!
"Wow! What was that?"
Peering out the window I notice someone wearing a yellow rain coat crash into metal trash bins. Ouch! That must have hurt. Rushing downstairs with my hoodie and shoes, I open the front door and run as fast as possible to the person.
"Hello is anyone there?" I scream in panic.
Pushing my glasses up my nose I notice a blur of yellow. Rushing over to the hyperventilating girl on the ground I feel her forehead for any signs of injury and ask,
"Are you okay?"
Impatiently I wait for her to answer but hear nothing...absolutely nothing.
"I'll pick you up and take you to my house to make sure you are okay."
The girl is actually really light, like she hasn't eaten in a while. I hope she is okay.
Walking back into my house and up to my room, I lay her on the bed and slightly pull her coat up to reveal it is the blonde haired girl from across the street. Why is she carrying a heavy book bag filled with clothes? Finally it dawns on me, she was running away. Careful wrapping her in a warm towel I rush to my closet to get a fresh pair of clothes since hers are very soaked.
What if I scared her and caused her to hyperventilate?
As I walk back to my bed I hear a groan and the sound of her waking up. Suddenly she gasps and hides her face in her hands.
While slithy quivering she says "Please don't hurt me."
What did you think of this chapter? Normally I wouldn't post 2 chapters in one day, but one of my friends wanted me to. Yes the picture of the girl in the last chapter was Sang. And the picture in this chapter is Kota. I'll post one chapter each day from now on. Hope you liked it. CREDIT GOES TO C.L STONE THE WRITER OF THE ACADEMY.
