"I get it," Estarossa said, looking up at Escanor. "You're the Human Melascula was babbling about, the one who defeated Galand, right?"
"Please don't harbor any hatred toward me," Escanor replied. "If you were to be stricken by your own Commandment, I'd be robbed of the fun of fighting you."
Estarossa grinned. "You're actually a nicer guy than I thought."
"Naturally."
Estarossa moved so quickly, you didn't even see it coming. One moment, they were motionless; the next, Estarossa delivered a fierce uppercut that forced droplets of blood to shoot out of Escanor's mouth.
He teleported above Escanor. After pausing for a moment to stare at Escanor, he punched the latter so hard that he flew down the side of the castle, landing in a heap of armor at the bottom.
Escanor flew back up, and Estarossa met him at the peak. He punched Escanor in the gut and sent him flying into the ground again.
"So even he's no match for him?" Gilthunder asked in despair.
Estarossa approached Escanor. He was soon interrupted as a blazing ball of sunlight grew into existence to his right. The sunlight revealed itself to be Escanor's fist, and although Estarossa managed to block it, he skidded back a few feet.
"Nice try," Estarossa started, but his eyes went wide and he fell to his hands and knees.
"Well, well," Escanor said, standing upright. "Did you find a gold coin on the ground?"
You looked up to the sky. Fraudrin and the black-haired Commandment floated in the air with wings made out of demonic energy. They seemed as shocked as Estarossa waswhen Escanor managed to bring him to his knees.
Estarossa laughed and got up. "You know, I can't get enough of the outside world!" He held his hand in front of his chest and summoned a sword. "This is what I've been waiting for. If it's you, I can play seriously!"
"How impudent."
With a heavy crash, Escanor brought Rhitta down. Estarossa jerked his sword toward his side. A fountain of blood spurted from Escanor's shoulder.
"Wow," you breathed. Despite how much you hated him for killing Meliodas the way he did, and the role he had to play in Nubium's destruction, you were impressed by how powerful he was. You figured there was a reason why he was one of the Ten Commandments.
"That surprised you a little, didn't it?" Estarossa asked as Escanor inspected the wound. "This is my magical power, Full Counter. I can deflect back any physical attack with more than double the power."
"I see. No wonder I actually felt pain just now. I'm quite amazing."
Estarossa laughed, putting his sword across his shoulders. "Just how proud and entertaining can you be? I want to memorize it before I kill you. So tell me your name."
"Escanor. Commit it to memory before you die."
He put his foot and hand forward. A miniature Sun formed above his palm. "Now then, as a show of respect to you for getting serious, I will also get serious. But don't think that your death will be easy."
"Jeez, you're one ruthless bastard," Estarossa said, watching the Sun with amusement. "If you use that kind of magical power, the people behind you will be charred to a crisp or worse!"
