Harry and Draco woke early two days later. Not because they wanted to, though.

"Come on guys, we'll be late!" Ron yelled, making them wake up, and making Harry fall off the bed, hitting the floor

"What're you on about?" Seamus muttered, pulling the covers tighter over himself and Dean.

"We overslept, the train's supposed to leave in twenty minutes!" Neville cried, and the boys shot out of bed.

Draco grabbed his luggage and tugged his clothes on, while Harry, Dean, Seamus, Neville, and Ron did the same. All the boys were grateful that Hermione had made sure they were packed the day before. They stumbled out of the dorm room to find the common rooms empty.

"We'll have to run to the train station, come on!" Harry called, as they hurried out the portrait hole and ran down the stairs.

As they went outside, they found fresh snow on the ground, and struggled through it down the path, going as fast as they could. they finally made it to the train station, where they found the other students going home for Christmas. Professor Lupin was waiting nearby.

"Where were you?" Hermione asked, tapping her foot as the train pulled up, Professor Lupin going over to them

"We-we may have overslept." Ron confessed, and Hermione just shook her head and sighed, kissing him on the cheek.

"Harry, I'll be in the teacher's compartment. I'll see you when we get off the train." Professor Lupin said

"Okay. See you there." Harry hugged him, then turned back to the others.

"I'm really sorry 'mione." Ron was apologizing

"Well, at least you're honest about it, come on." She said, and they all boarded the train.

Dean and Seamus went with Neville to a compartment, while Hermione, Ron, Harry, Draco, Ginny, and Luna went into another. Since the boys hadn't had breakfast, Ginny and Hermione shared some things from the breakfast that morning.

"When you didn't turn up I thought you might have overslept but I didn't want to assume, so Ginny and I saved some for you." Hermione explained, as the boys ate heartily. Luna got up to take some food to the others.

A while later, Harry was talking with Draco while Hermione read and Ginny and Luna slept. Ron was building a tower out of Exploding Snap cards. Draco pulled out a book, The Tales of Beedle the Bard, and began to read.

"You like that book?" Harry asked

"Of course, it's a classic." Draco replied, and Harry shrugged, getting his own book, Quidditch Through the Ages. Harry cuddled up against Draco, who draped an arm over Harry's shoulders. The two boys read silently, content. Until the train swayed a little and Ron's tower exploded.

"Is it time for the trolley yet?" Luna asked sleepily, the bang having woken her and Ginny up

"No, it's only Ron's tower." Hermione replied, pulling Ron in for a hug. they heard footsteps from out in the corridor, then there was a knock at the door

"Harry, it's me, Romilda? I'm sure you remember me from when you were in 6th year?" a girl said

A/N: Romilda was in fourth year when we first see her in the 6th book so right now she'd be in her 6th year and still at school so it's totally plausible she tries to hook up with Harry after hearing about his breakup with Ginny-too bad he's already taken ;)

Draco instantly grabbed Harry and mashed his lips against Harry's. Harry straddled Draco's lap and kissed back as the door opened, revealing the girl. Romilda stared at the two boys, then gasped

"Oh, hey Romilda." Harry said, letting go of Draco, who wrapped his arms around Harry's waist

"B-but why?" Romilda asked

"Well, things don't work out too well between two people when the girl tries to trick the boy into drinking love potions because he'd not into her." Harry replied, then leaned in for another kiss, which Draco happily delivered

"But why a Death Eater?" Romilda cried, and Harry stood up, furious

"He's not a Death Eater, and it's none of your business who I date, so you'll keep your mouth shut about it if you don't want trouble." Harry said, and Romilda nodded, quickly scurrying down to her compartment

"Nice one." Ron said.

Luna rubbed her eyes and took out a copy of the Quibbler, yawning disinterestedly. Ginny rested her head on Luna's shoulder, reading the magazine as well.

"Did she really try to make you drink love potion?" Draco asked

"Yeah, she did." Harry answered

"If anyone ever tries to do that again..."Draco threatened

"I know, my boyfriend will kill them." Harry said, nuzzling up to Draco, who smiled at him and nodded, then wrapped his arms around the smaller boy.

They got to Kings Cross a few hours later, around noon, and were getting their things. The group had already changed into muggle clothes so they wouldn't look weird to the people on the other side of the barrier. Harry waited for Professor Lupin to take his own things from the train and come over to collect him.

"Right. I'm off to tell my parents that i'm my own man, and that i'm spending Christmas with my boyfriend and his friends, at the Weasley's house." Draco said as Professor Lupin came over. Draco kissed Harry on the cheek, and Harry took his hand

"If you need help, just Apparate to the Burrow, alright mate?" Ron asked

"Thanks Ron, but I'm hoping it won't come to that, and I'll be coming to the Burrow because that's where I'm going to be this Christmas, not to escape my parents." Draco said, then moved away, heading for where his parents were standing.

"Don't wave Luna, it'll look suspicious." Hermione hissed, pulling Luna's hand back to her side

"Oh, yes, and suspicion is bad luck, thank you Hermione." Luna said thoughtfully

"Ready to go Harry?" Professor Lupin asked

"Yes papa. I hope Draco will be okay." Harry sighed, looking over at Draco.

"He'll be fine Harry. Come on, Sirius and Teddy are waiting for us." Professor Lupin said, smiling.
