You're Going to Regret That

Kim Namjoon, is a dangerous-well not a man. No, he was a male, a tall, striking, elegant, well formed male. But he wasn't a man, nor human in fact. He was a menacing creature, a demon. Nobody knew this of course. If anyone knew this information Namjoon would have to viciously murder them and send their soul to hell. Although his job was to find souls and trick them into doing bad things, it just wasn't as fun without the small challenge. He was great at his job, he had all the advantages of having a good looking human vesicle. Namjoon liked knowing how handsome he was, it was actually one of the things he liked about the mortal world. You could say he loves attention.
One thing he hated, no absolutely loathed, was flowers. In his mind they were flimsy and weak. Once they were plucked they had no use, they just rot until the delicate petals fall off and make a mess. A mess that someone would have to clean up.
"Who the hell do you think you are to give me stupid weeds?"
"I-I just wanted to ch-cheer you up. I apologize if I offended you. It was an honest mistake of mine!" Poppy's face reddened with embarrassment, it was as if she was seven being scolded by a teacher.
This little girl must have some nerve. She thinks she can even speak to me, a demon. Whether she knows or not, with such wealth and beauty that's clearly on my human form, she should know better.
"Let me give you two pieces of advice kid. One, don't give people flowers to make them feel better. Flowers are dirty and they always die. Two, if it doesn't involve you, mind your own business. If not, you'll end up hurt." With that Namjoon tossed the daffodils on the ground, stepping on them while walking away.
Poppy stood there dumbfounded. She didn't know the man but she was somehow affected by his words. She couldn't tell if it was because he didn't like her gesture or if he basically insulted her career.
Poppy eyed the daffodils on the side walk. The petals had been broken, dirt covered the yellow flowers and the baby blue ribbon that tied them together. She picked them up and walked back into the shop with her head hanging down.
That day the daffodils ended up in the trash. Though they meant happiness, Poppy didn't feel any of it.
I can't help someone who doesn't want to be helped, I don't know his situation. I tried and that's all that matters. The thought didn't make Poppy feel any better. It didn't help that she had two more hours till the work day ended. At least tomorrow she would start fresh and happy in the morning. That kept her going through the day.

When Namjoon passed the flower shop he was headed to his next victim. Although, he continued on his way to meet the unlucky person, the daffodil event still clouded his thoughts. Weirdly enough the act of sending some random human to to hell and claiming their soul, it didn't sound entertaining. It sounded boring.
Namjoon thought about the flowers, but most importantly he thought about the girl who gave them to him. Her cheerful eyes. How when she smiled, it really did spread across her whole face, and how when Namjoon yelled at her, her cheeks were covered in a bright pink.
I really do hope I ruined her day. Hell, I probably did her a favor. Now she knows to never go up to strangers again.
He wasn't satisfied with this thought. He still wanted to make her more miserable. When Namjoon pictured her face he was immediately filling with seething anger. Getting back at her would be the only way to solve this problem. Besides she seemed easy enough to manipulate, and the guy that Namjoon was supposed to torment today could wait. This would all work out, he could get back at her and he could also get a new soul for hell. Kill two birds with one stone as humans say.
There was only one problem though. He was mean to her, how could the girl ever trust someone who insulted her. It was definitely a dilemma, but one that could definitely be solved. After all in Namjoon's opinion, all humans had many faults. Two of them was being too trusting and too forgiving. Thankfully, the demon could use this for his advantage.
Tomorrow I'll go back to the flowers shop and apologize. I will lie and tell her that I was especially angry because my girlfriend broke up with me. I can flirt with her and ask her out on a date. A lot of sins can be made with being in love. Humans fall in love too easily, they'll do anything for love. Stupid humans, stupid love.

Hello guys,
I really hoped that each and everyone of you liked this chapter. I really wanted to exceed over 1,000 words but I only got to around 830 because this felt like a good place to stop. I wanted to start a new thing where I recommend a Kpop song and a random fact about the story.

Kpop song of the day: Wanna Go Back by Day6

Fact about the story: This story was actually going to be about either Johnny from NCT, Namjoon, Jimin, Jungkook, or Jaebum from GOT7. But I chose Namjoon because he is my BTS bias.

Well that all, till next time, bye guys!!
