I gulped, instantly knowing who it is. Caleb got tired of waiting. He roughly grabbed my arm. "Which way?" I pointed in the direction of the treasure room. Caleb chuckled as he dragged me along with him. When we reached the treasure room his eyes lit up. "Now this is what I'm talking about!"
He rushed in, filling his hands with gold coins. Ethan stayed next to me to make sure I didn't run. He got what he wants, I hope he'll leave now. My hopes were crushed when he approached me with a smirk on his face.
"With you in my possession, I have control over this kingdom. That princess will do anything to protect you. I bet her little heart will be broken when she sees the state Ethan plans to leave you in." Ethan grabbed my arm as Caleb stopped talking.
"Where can I find us a nice bedroom?" Ethan chuckles as he drags me away. I struggle, crying as I try to get away. He's going to get what he wants. I'm so scared. I close my eyes tight until I feel his grip disappear. Slowly I open then to be thrown on a bed. "I'll have to be a littleeasy on you. Caleb wouldn't be to happy if I accidentally killed you."
Just how rough is he normally? I don't want to find out. I have to get out of here. Looking around I notice the window. We are on the bottom floor, so that's an option, but how far would I really get. Where are all the guards at?
"The guards that remained after we sent them on a wild goose chase were easy to deal with. Although, I should hurry. I don't want to be interrupted." As he approached me I backed away. Why did this have to happen? Why can't i just stay happy? Ava, please, I dont want to lose it like this. Not to him. My body shivered as his fingers run over my thighs. I opened my mouth, wanting to scream for her, but I didn't think anything would actually come out.
"A...va....." My voice came out as quiet and trembling. Ethan just looked at me before smirking.
"Look at who finally found her voice." His hand began to reach between my legs. "Lets see if we can get anymore qords out of you."
"Get away from her!" Red was all I saw after hearimg Ava's yell. She had cut him down with a sword. More tears began to stream down my cheeks as moved towards her. My arms wrapped themselves around her in utter fear. "I heard you speak. You said my name."
I nodded, not sure if I could even speak again. She was smiling, yet still looked so worried. My cheeks turned red as she kissed my forehead.
"Your voice, it's beautiful. Are you okay?" I nodded, until I remembered Caleb. My eyes opened wide.
"Ca....leb...." I managed to strain his name out.
"Careful now. You shouldn't speak anymore until I get you looked at. There is no meed to worry about him. He's been taken care of. Come on, lets get a doctor to look at you." She released me and started walking. Before she could get to far, I grabbed her shirt. "What? You want me to carry you or something?"
She said that with a flirting attitude to make me feel better, but I nodded. My legs could barely move from all the shaking. She smiled and picked me up bridal style. My hands held each other as I dug my head into her chest. This is what makes me feel safe. She'll never let anyone take advantage of me.
That is why... that is why I am in love with her.
