A piercing stab in the back of my head triggered a shriek out of my mouth. My eyes shot open and my head involuntarily lifted itself from the softness it had been lying on.

I wanted to close my eyes again when every inch of my body ached in a different way. I wanted to fall back into the deep slumber I had been in just seconds ago. I wanted the pain to stop.

However, my consciousness had gotten noticed and before I knew it, a familiar smelling boy pushed himself on my fragile form, embracing me with such intensity, it was overwhelming.

"You're back." The voice was drained and raspy and my eyes watered, knowing I had been the cause of it.

I weakly pressed my hands against Jimin's chest and took a look at his face.

Hollow cheeks, telling me he hasn't eaten properly, empty eyes that make him look like an emotionless wreck, grown out hair covering half of his eyes and most importantly his usual melanin glow missing, paleness being left.

My fingers found their way to his long ash blond dyed hair and I wondered, "What day is it."

An unhealthy cough left my throat when I finished my sentence, which made Jimin furrow his brows in worry.

"It's the 3th of October, you've been out for a month."

No way, I could've sworn it were only hours.

"Why?" I asked and Jimin sighed as he gave my burning forehead a chaste kiss and then seated himself on the edge of my bed.

"You almost bleeded out and your body needed time to reproduce its loss. On top of that, you caught a huge flu that weakened you immensely."

I nodded and wanted to close my eyes again, drowsiness taking over me, but Jimin squeezed my hand, "Please don't leave me again."

I shook my head lightely, "Don't worry, I just want to sleep."

Loud rumbling erupted from the hallway and my eyes opened when a familiar voice entered my eardrums,

"I have nothing to do with this, I just wanna see my sister!"

Jimin glanced at the door and then at me, obvious insecurity shining in his orbs. A tired smile formed on my lips, "Let him inside."

Silence filled the room for what seemed like a few minutes and I had no issue with it since drowsiness again got the best of me. Jimin sighed beside me and eventually got up, leaving the room.

I had lost complete track of time and wasn't sure if it had been hours or only minutes after the door finally opened, revealing Jaebum.

I was slightly taken aback when our eyes met and a wide grin spread across his healthy features. He radiated warmth and positivity as he slowly came up to me and sat on the corner of my bed.
