Resolutions,
One of the first things
That will go through our heads
Once New Year comes by.
We want to achieve this,
We want to achieve that.
Waiting for January seems pointless
When we can start whenever we want
Nevertheless, we wait for this exact day.
And we start, but this year,
We don't want to give up,
We don't want to start that
Vicious and repetitive cycle
Of failures and frustrations,
Of anger and disappointments.
We need a fresh start,
We want to do better than before.
We want to get out of that dark place,
That unstable mindset,
We want to do better, desperately.
So, we start
Knowing that we might fail,
In fact, it's very likely that we will
But it doesn't matter,
Because we can get back up,
Because we know that
This will be a year of growth.
