"Come back...." I can hear a female voice call me from light. I snap back to reality a few moments later.
"Wake up." I hear a muffled voice.
All of the sudden, a something hits my face. Pain.
"OI, WAKE UP!" The voice sounds like Caesia. I quickly sit up and get some distance from her. Just to be safe. "We're hungry." Caesia says to me while pointing to Luminia. "Alright, alright.... I'll go ready up the fire." I say to her, right before she slaps me again. "You're cooking on a fire?!" She asks loudly. Like, why not? "That hurt, y'know! Besides, why not?" I ask. "Luminia can cook without fire, her hands can heat up." She tells me. "THEN WHY DID YOU WAKE ME UP!?" "Shut up! We don't know where the meat is. That's all!" She says, accompanied by another slap. When will this girl stop slapping me? "There are no meat stores..." I tell her. "but how-" "I hunt to survive out here." I interrupt her before she does the same to me.
I get out of the tent, gently pushing Luminia to the side. Now, where do I find food? "Luminia, Caesia, do you two have any weapons?" I ask for something to kill with. "I have a throwing knife." Luminia answers. "Nevermind, we're hiking to the nearest town." I tell them both, it's gonna be a long trip, but we'll make it. I look to Caesia and she's eating something. "WHAT THE- WHAT ARE YOU EATIN'?!" I ask Caesia in shock. Luminia stays quiet look at both of us. "I made it, want some?" She says as she hands me what looks like chicken nuggets. *facepalm* THIS IS CONFUSING! "Alright..... alright. Just..." I try to say something. "Just make an entire bucket of those." I tell her. As I look at Caesia she starts to make something out of thin air. Beams of light come together then materialize. "It's odd, really." Luminia comments. Caesia finishes making a bucket of nuggets then we start eating all of it.
I didn't really think or perceive anything as I was eating. Too focused on the nuggets.
After we were done we decided to sit in the tent for a while. I was just laying against one of the tent walls. "Do you remember anything?" Luminia asks me from across the tent. "Anything? From what?" I ask her. "Nevermind." Luminia adds. I stare at her, confused, but I don't think about it for too long. "What do you usually do here?" Caesia asks. "I uh..... sit around.... thinking." I answer. I don't really do anything, it's boring out here, but it's better than being cast away or looked down upon by cities. Caesia looks at me. "Cast away?" "Well, you see those marks the three of us have on our faces?" I ask her. "Do I look blind?" Caesia counters while answering. "Anyway..... society sees them as marks of danger and this happened." I answer. She starts laughing vigorously. I look at Luminia, she's staying quiet. I muttered softly to myself. "Clearly unlike her mother, who is insane." Luminia seems to have picked that up, but how? Caesia is still laughing like she has a black hole as lungs. "How? How do you know of her?" Luminia asks me. "I don't know either but, in my mind, I know Yzeria as insane, she's pretty kind as well, though." I answer her. Caesia stops laughing and lays down and relaxes. "Just tell me of anything later." She then proceeds to nap. "Luminia, should I bring you to the cities? I mean, you've been gone for in the very least, a millenium." I ask her. She seems to need to go around to get a catch up.
"Cities?" She asks. "Sounds like fun." Her sister, Caesia, adds. I have a beacon in place, all set. We can return anytime.
