Chapter 24

Third Person's POV

"Not so fast, my dear brother..."

There he was, Jungkook's evil twin brother.

Jeon Jeongguk.

"You—!!" Jungkook exclaimed.

Jeongguk only chuckled.

"Miss me, brother?" he mocked.

"I thought I've already killed you a thousand centuries ago?!" Jungkook yelled in pure anger.

Then, he looked over at Taehyung...no, V.

"What have you done to him??!" Jungkook demanded an answer.

"Oh, you wanna know why, brother?" Jeongguk asked.

Then, he spread out his leather like wings and flew towards V's side.

And immediately, both of them locked their lips together, kissing right in front of Jungkook.

Jungkook was at beyond his limits.

He couldn't stand this humiliation.

As soon as they both parted their lips, Jeongguk only smirked.

"Why this is revenge, brother!! I am the eldest, and I am the rightful one to take the throne after father!!" Jeongguk exclaimed.

He could see Jungkook's eyes were burning with anger and jealousy.

"We should take him down, Jeongguk," V suggested.

But Jeongguk only patted V's back.

"No, my future queen. He's mine!!"

And with that, Jeongguk charged forward, pushing Jungkook back.

Before he could even react, Jungkook sent him a painful punch in the face which send him flying backwards.

"Don't test me,  Jeongguk!!" Jungkook marked.

Just then, he saw his brother took out something...

A cross...

(the cross is the only weapon to kill a demon once and for all when stabbed deep in its heart.)

No way...

"How did you—"

"Oh, you don't really have to know how I stole it. Right now, the most important thing is to kill you!!"

Jeongguk said and rush towards Jungkook, trying to stab him with the cross.

Jungkook tried his best to avoid it at all cost.

He didn't want to die yet...

Not for Taehyung...

But Jungkook did successfully kicked the cross out of Jeongguk's hand.

The cross went flying across till it landed right he had at V's feet.

But that didn't stop them from fighting.

Both of them had an intense fight, neither of them were willing to loose.

That was until Jeongguk put Jungkook in an illusion, tricking his visions and finally pinned him down onto the ground.

Jungkook struggled, trying to break free.

He had really underestimated his brother all these years.

He never knew his brother to have grown stronger after all these years.

"Now, it's time to end you...ONCE. AND. FOR. ALL!!" Jeongguk exclaimed.

"V, hurry!! Pass me the cross!!!" he demanded.

V stood there, hesitating.

"V, hurry!! We'll end him!! Together, we'll rule the world and no one can ever stop us!!"

V picked up the cross from the ground.

And came towards them...

"That's my good boy," Jeongguk smirked.

Tae...no...

Jungkook could only beg in his mind.

He doesn't want to die in the hands of his loved one.

He could die in his own brother's hand...

But Taehyung...

He just couldn't accept it...

"No Tae..." he muttered.

"Silence!!" Jeongguk yelled as he focused back onto Jungkook.

Jungkook watched as V slowly approached them.

And he stood right behind Jeongguk...

"Give it to me," Jeongguk said without turning back.

And that's what happened....
