It was the 8th month of her gestation period. She was going through intense labour pain. She had a hard time last night battling with the sweet torment that the gift of this new life inside her, gave her. It was 4 in the morning. He woke up to a beautiful thing, watching his beloved sleep peacefully by his side. He flashed a contented smile seeing her angelic face. He pecked her forehead, gently caressed her face and left.

"Sanyu darling.. wakeup.. It's already 9.. " "Hmm.. Good Morning Mr Sadu.." She said rubbing her eyes.  He smiled at her innocence.  Her expression reminded him of the 3rd year fresher's party night, on which day they had confided in themselves, how much they love each other. The drizzle of the raindrops still reverberates in his ears. She was rubbing her eyes in the same way, when the wayward wind blew some dust in her eyes.

"Randhir.." She snapped her fingers right infront of him. "Kyaa huaa..?" She giggled.  Her hair was messed. She was strenuously striving to catch a good slumber. And he was by her side all night, gently fondling her face, patting her, stroking her hair, chatting with her, trying to make her sleep on his laps.  He was teleported to yet another page of memory.  The night which they spent together. She was guilt-ridden of the fact & was weeping ceaselessly. Her hair was messy, her kajal smudged. He had conciliated saying "It's Okay. We love each other truly & will never ever be apart. We've sacrificed our soul, not only our body."  It was the first time he had sung for her, or atleast tried to sing, to bring the honey-dripping smile back on her face.

He supported her in getting up from her bed & blindfolded her. 'Support', yes she always did support him & opened his blindfold, opened the doors to a extraordinarily different world.  Sanyukta helped clear out his misconstructions about his mom. But before long, his father cognized of his secret meetings with his mom & his efforts to re-establish this tarnished relationship, & forced him to choose between any one, either his mom or him. Randhir was standing in a crossroad. He knew he loved both of them, and so did she. His father passed away due to excess consumption of alcohol which was on a high since the past few days due to rifts with his son. Randhir was broken. He held himself responsible for all that happened. He cried like a baby bereft of his mother. A vulnerable Randhir fled to a bar in a secluded corner of the city to imbibe as much alcohol his body could contain. She went searching for him frantically, alone in the night, & engulfed him in a tight hug, on his sight, assuring him he was not at all guilty. She was his drug. Her enclasping arms around his neck felt so blissful to him, for a moment, he forget everything and wanted to be forever in her embrace. She made sure he didn't imbibe alcohol again in his life. She taught him to value what's still there, his mom.

He lead her carefully to the hallway, still blindfolded. She giggled out of impatience. "Tell me.. what's in store for me ?" she said enthusiastically, turning towards him, who was walking behind him. "Nothing.. Just know that I love you.." He blurted out, having nothing to say. "Me too.." She said as she snaked her hands around his neck for a greater support, flashing the same enchanting smile which drives him crazy since college days.  The smile that magically makes all his woes to disappear. He was so addicted to this smile, he'd spend his whole day watching her grin. People commented that he was not the Randhir Singh Shekhawat they used to know, or else had lost his mind. But being RSS, he would not pay heed to their useless criticism.

"Ouch !" "Aaahh.. Walk carefully.. Sanyu here, hold me tight.. Shall I pick you up ?" His said in a concerned voice. "Okay.. Noh Randhir I can take care of myself.." She tried to sound convincing.  He knew she never would. She would call him, reminding him to take his medicines on time, but would forget about herself. She cared about almost everyone but her herself. He flew back in time to the mechanical lab, where he too had cut his hand unknowingly, seeing her bleed.

They reached the entrance of the bedroom. She could hear sounds of unlocking a door. She couldn't hold her excitement any longer.  "Here you go !" He whispered as he opened the blindfold.  The room contained pictures of him and her pasted in the wall, almost all the crucial moments that they had lived with each other. On the front, was a white screen which came from the projector behind.  "Wow ! This is amazing !!" Her emotions took her in a roller coaster. "It must have cost him hours to find them, assemble them & put the whole thing together. But he did it, despite his hectic profession." She thought to herself.  It had - Their first hug near the canteen, their first lab fight, them sharing the same stage as the winners of the best scholar award' at the end of the 4th year, him playing the guitar for her frantically in order to conciliate her, her laughter and smiles, the numerous selfies and usies featuring them posing crazy, her cladding in a traditional attire and behaving like a girl for the first time, her bagging the first prize of YSA, their tiring late night project completion sessions, and even their first hate kiss, adjoining their 2nd kiss ( love-kiss) and a lot's more !

Some were live pictures & others were paintings that seemed so real and natural.  He made her sit & pressed some buttons of the projector and treaded back towards her. He sat right besides her. Her emotions had overpowered her ability to produce vocals & she was just crying. She was just too numb to react anything at the moment.  The plain white screen had changed into a colourful flash. & it said - "The Journey.. -Featuring Randhir & Sanyukta.. "  Her gaze was intently fixed on the screen. It was really a beautiful fabrication of their journey to love. It contained the chain of events that lead to their love-including their intense fights, the beginning of their love-hate relationship, and finally finding their true love.

At the end was a note, which thanked her for coming to his life, for turning him from a MCP to a gentleman, for teaching him what life is. It ended with the line... "Awaiting another member to my lovely family.." Her hands flew to her stomach in a reflex, feeling the kick of their baby. "He loves it too.. He kicked you see.."  With that she embraced him in a bone-crushing hug, careful not to hurt their baby. "Thank you for everything..Mr Sadu, Mr Shekhawat, Mr MCP...Mr...unhhmm.." She whispered in his ears, not letting him go, her voice hoarse & shaky.  "I LOVEEE you !" She almost screeched. "I love you FOREVER.." He hissed. "I love you (forever) square !!" She said ruffling his hair, still holding him tight. "I love you ((forever) square ) square !!!" He chuckled & gently kissed her hair.

--And this continued.. even much after their baby was born, they would engage in their cute and frenzy fights.
