chapter 4- Trapped

      You race up to Holly, throwing your arms around her neck. She hugs you back while Cole glances back his apartment. He sighs as loud noises and objects being thrown echoes off the brick walls. He walks up to you, more monsters flee to the window, their red eyes gazing at all of you.

     "Guys, we gotta go," he mumbles while eyeing his surroundings like a computer scanning for something important. Holly let's go of you and you step back. Your (e/c) eyes lock onto Lilly's frame. You frown as you see her body shake with fear and tears rolling down her cheeks. You sit on your knees, gazing at her injuried foot.

      The skin around the cuts has faded into a purple shade while bruises appear to engraved around the edges of the bandaids. You place a hand on her right shoulder.
      "Lilly, can you still walk on your foot?" You ask making her look up at you. She shakes her head in a no motion, her face fading into a sickly pale shade.

      "Holly?" You say. Holly automatically looks down at you, her eyes locking onto yours.
      "Yeah, (Y/n)?" You wrap your arm around Lilly's shoulder while wrapping her arm around your waist.
     "We gotta get her to a safe place. She can't really walk on her foot and I'm worried she might fall if we don't hurry up," you gently help her to her feet.

      Holly snaps her head in Cole's direction while crossing her arms over her chest.  She steps into his personal space, frowning at him.
     "You're the leader. Find a safe place for us to stay for a day or two," she demands. He sighs while glancing at the watch around his wrist.
       "Fine, but we have to hurry," he mumbles. He heads out of the alleyway while you help Lilly, following his lead.

(An hour later)

      You follow him down another street coming to a two-store house blocked by a gate. You gaze up at the house, morning finally breaking the darkness apart in the sky above. Holly sighs, leaning her back against a car's frame parked next to the street. He walks up to the iron gate, his eyes locking onto a lock wrapped around the bars.

      Holly laughs a bit making him snap his head in her direction.
      "What's so funny?" He asks, crossing his arms over his chest. 
      "Do you have a way to unlock that?" She asks, smirking at him.
      "I do actually. I'm not completely stupid," he snaps while reaching into his jacket pocket. He takes out his knife, slipping the blade in the keyhole. He messes with the contraption for about two minutes before it unlocks.

     He tosses the lock aside, pushing open the gate. He steps into the front yard and all of you catch up to him. He twirls the knife between his knuckles as Holly passes him with a smirk on his face.

(Two hours later)

      You and Cole had checked out the house and turns out it's empty. Not to mention you haven't seen any monsters around for a while. You walk into the living room, propping your arm against the door frame. Your eyes lock onto Holly and Lilly's frame. They're currently in the living room. Lilly is sitting on the sofa while Holly is checking on her leg.

      "How bad is her injury?" You ask. Holly sighs while tossing the bandaids in the trashcan next to her.
       "Not well. I need some more medical supplies to fix her leg up. If I don't she could get a infection in her blood stream," Holly replies, wrapping a bandage around her leg.

      Suddenly, someone taps your shoulder. You turn your head meeting Cole's frame. He smirks at you before grabbing your hand. You try to pull your hand out of his grip but he drags you toward the front door.
      "Where are you taking me?" You ask, confusion pumping into your heart.

       He automatically stops in his tracks, turning his head to look at you. His eyes flicker with danger while he smirks darkly.
       "We're going to stop by that pharmacy we passed by eailer,"
