     Amber's P.O.V.

     "Arcee, on your six!"

Another Vehicon Trooper came right at me, and I had to use both of my swords to block its attack. From the corner of my eye, I saw Arcee kick the 'Con away from her and towards me. I threw the 'Con that I had towards the other when everyone and everything disappeared. I looked around, trying to find something in the darkness. "Arcee?" I called out.

Suddenly, pain erupted through my chest and I screamed out. I felt myself being lift up from the thing that was in my chest, so I weakly looked down to see a sword. I slowly went to grab it, but my right arm was made of metal. Cybertronian metal. I turn my head to see my attacker as I felt my energy leaving me. Red optics looked at me, but they didn't belong to Megatron....

     Oh, Primus.....

     They belong to Optimus...

........................................................................

I shot up, gasping for air as I looked around fearfully. Where--

"Oh, yeah. At base." I said to myself. I look down at my chest to see nothing there. I sighed as I layed a hand on it. How long have I been having these nightmares? A week?

"A week and two days, to be precise." Ember commented in my head.

I didn't chuckle. "You saw it too, didn't you?" I asked.

"I did. They have become too frequent for comfort." I was quiet for a moment. "Amber?"

"I'm worried." Was all I said. "The nightmares... They feel like a bad dream, yet they feel so real."

"Do you think that the nightmares are visions?" She asked.

I gathered the blankets that I knocked over and nested myself in them. "It's possible."

"Last time I recall, you only had them while you were awake."

I snuggled my face into the warm and soft blankets. "I know." My voice muffled.

We were quiet for a moment before I heard a small whimper coming from my right. I lifted my head to see Saphirra curled up, shaking. I quickly and quietly got out of my nest, stood up, and walked to her. I sat down next to her and gently stroke her back and wings. "Shh. It's okay, sis." I whispered. "I'm here."

She relaxed as soon as I laid my hand on her wings. When she has bad dreams or nightmares, I was the only who stroke her back and wings. I felt the tension leaving her and she fell back into a deep sleep. I continued to stroke her wings and back as I said to Ember, "Looks like I'm not the only one who's having nightmares."

"Yet you seem to be the one most affected." Ember said.

I took a deep breath. "What are we?" I asked as I look at Violet. She was sleeping peacefully.

     "Predacons."

I mentally turn around to see Ember sitting on a chair, her arms crossed. She shrugged. "What?"

"You mean to tell me that you knew what we are, but never told me?" I asked, a little anger laced in my voice.

She raised her hands defensively, her two sets of black wings raising a little as well. "You never asked me. Besides, you never could hear me."
