pam typed out on her computer focused on her work, she was a receptionist. always tending phone calls and other necessities.

"closing time!" pam's boss micheal calls out skipping out of his office with his coat and brief case. every one began to pack and reach for their coats on the hanger.

the brunette receptionist put her belongings in her work purse, hung it on her shoulder and began to leave. she made it to the exit when a certain mexican accountant stopped her.

"pam," he called out in his calm yet demeaning voice.

"oh hey oscar." pam smiled at the sight of him. oscar was pam's best friend, the only person she talked to and not just about business.

"are we still doing the thing?" the man asked.

"um, of course." pam almost forgot. every wednesday the two got together in pam's home to watch a movie and just chat about whatever. it was pam's turn to pick the film and she already had a choice in her head: e.t

"shall we go then?" oscar asked.

"of course."

since oscar came in the city bus to work, he had to hitch a ride in pam's car. the drive wasn't far but when pam's with her bestie time slows down. they spoke of work, plans for the weekend, and the movie pam would pick as a song quietly played on the girl's radio.

in twenty minutes, they were in pam's apartment.
