Hogwarts Officially Starting

I didn't feel that tired. Hermione was right next to my bed and when I turned over to look at her, I caught her staring at me. She was slightly distraught at being caught staring. I smiled at her "I like your purple hair" she whispered
"thanks Hermione, but I don't think you can admire it in this lighting." I said teasingly. "I mean, yeah, probably. I thought you were asleep." she said changing the subject "nope, I'm not tired, are you?" I replied "no.." she said "anyway, Ariana, do you mind if I ask you something?" she asked. I said "yeah.. Sure" "why do you have an arrow-shaped scar on your wrist?" she said looking right into my eyes through the dark. I fidgeted and instinctively covered my wrist with the sleeve of my pj's. "oh um, you must be mistaken, maybe an ink stain.." I said panic-stricken that people would see my scar so fast "Ariana.. You know that's no ink stain.." she said looking concerned. I turned over and stared at the maroon wallpaper
"hermione, it's late, we ought to get some sleep." I mumbled "Ariana, I promise if you tell me the story behind that scar. I won't think you're a freak or anything. We still can be friends." wow.since when did we become friends. But well, it's good to have a friend so I decided to tell her. "Hermione, let's go to the common room. I'll tell you there. I don't want to wake these people." I said gesturing at the first-years asleep in our dormitory. We walked down as quietly as mice. We settled down on the best couches and I told hermione about the prophecy and about Aeryl and about me being Ophelia Malfoy." then why do you have to go with the name Ariana, Ophelia?" asked Hermione with her head tilted to one side. "if voldemort finds out about me being here, I would be tortured every minute of my life." I answered "In the prophecy it says he can't kill you." hermione said frowning. "Hermione, just because he can't kill me doesn't mean he can't put the Cruciatus curse on me." I said, slightly impatient
"ahh.." she said "you aren't freaking out that I'm draco's twin?" I asked "no you're much nicer than him. And you were put in gryffindor, not that it matters." she said.
