"Beep Beep" "Beep Beep"
The loud, screeching sounds of the alarm go off, waking up Luna. It was 10:30 AM. She put on some clothes and got downstairs."Hey, mom. Hey Jeff." Luna said in a tired mood. "Good morning sweetie. I have some news. We have new neighbors. You know what that means."
Luna nodded and accepted the fact that mom meant they would have a party this evening.
"Hey petit sister, I know you're stressed out about going to a different school and all that. But I heard that the neighbors' daughter is also a big nerd like you are. Cmon... cheer up."
Luna smiles at Jeff before he hugs her. She spends a few more hours drawing and playing pc games.
It's now 4 PM and the party will start. Luna lives in a T-shaped street where you can play around freely without many cars coming through so mom decides to hold the party in the middle of the street. Every inhabitant of the street is invited. There was alcohol, a barbecue, a bouncy castle and more. Then, the new neighbors showed up. They immediately made themselves comfortable. But one thing glanced Lunas Eyes, their daughter. She was sitting alone in the grass, not trying to be social. Her name was Kobie, and Luna... well... Luna thought she was kinda cute. Luna was a little bit hesitant to say hi to her, but she eventually found the courage to do so.
"H-hey... my name is Luna. W-What's your name?" Luna asked stressfully.
"Oh hello, my name is Kobie. Nice to meet you."
Luna sat down next to Kobie and they proceeded to talk about video games, movies, books and more for a while and found out they had a lot in common.
"Everyone! The burgers are ready!" Luna's dad yelled.
Luna and Kobie proceeded to take chairs right next to each other. It was tasty.
"So, to which school do you go?"Kobie asked.
"Oh, I'm going to GSE School of Sciences in Highstreets. I will go there for the first time when vacation is over." Luna replied.
"Oh My Goodness! I go to that school as well. I've been a student for 3 years there." Kobie said enthusiastically.
It also turned out they chose Biotechnic Sciences and are classmates. They tell their parents after they were done with their burgers.
At 7 PM they decide to go to Luna's place after having endless fun on the bouncy castle. The adults were going to party till midnight, but Luna and Kobie felt tired. They entered through the garage door and proceeded to go to Luna's bedroom where she has an old tv that can play retro games. They looked through the many cartridges and decided duck hunt would be a great time. Kobie tried to play but only got to round 6 before she got a game over screen.
"Now you try!" Kobie said happily as she gave Luna the Zapper.
"O-okay..." Luna responded.
In the first round, she got a perfect row of ducks, and then the second round, and the third round. Kobie looked in awe at what she was seeing. She was going perfectly through round and round. No single shot missed its mark. Kobie snuggled up against Luna until she put her head on Luna's shoulder. Luna was surprised and she missed a shot. Game Over! Her score was 1.537.100. Luna peeked over her shoulder and stared deeply into Kobie's eyes. Those beautiful, beautiful eyes. She had a grin on her face.
She said: "Luna... I love you..."
She grabbed Luna's hand and pulled her closer. Then... she planted a kiss. Luna was surprised... but she liked it. She kissed her a second time and it lasted about a minute.
"I love you too, my boo." Luna replied.
Kobie put her head back on Luna's shoulder as they both fell asleep.
