Chapter viii: A Much More Deadly Game

Jason found the letter.

Approximately one hour and twenty-three minutes after twelve-year-olds Presley Sage and Kara Arlington were reported missing.

•4:02 AM•
The Arligtons, Sages, as well as Jason Pemberton, were all finally reached and made aware of the news by proper authority.

•4:52 AM•
Most of the Academy students and workers were awake, looking for the two missing children. Placed in groups of three or more with flashlights and phones on if anything was to be found.

•5:30 AM•
Regrouping starts, at the café for students, and at the staff lounge for workers. Nothing is found.

•6:07 AM•
Samantha Sage and Steven Arlington arrive at the Academy, and still remain in meeting with Ken Danielson.

•7:00 AM•
Classes and training were cancelled for the day.

•7:16 AM•
Sapphire posted.

•8:30 AM•
Aspyn Arlington would be released from the hospital.

The text Jason found on his phone, was simple. Delivered at about 2 o'clock, from his mentee, Presley Sage.

— Pres:
Hey, Jason! Kara and I are both feeling a bit upset after what happened with Aspyn earlier, so we're going to head down to the rink to skate a little bit; we know it's kind of illegal but it's fine. Just letting you know in case you go to check on me and I'm not there :)

Upon further investigation, the two were not at the rink. According to investigation, they didn't even make it there; their bags were found simply sitting on the path on the way there.

There were no updates on the case after that, and despite the requests for this to be a completely private case, people at Sapphire Hills have money and who doesn't love Presley and Kara? So everyone was out looking.

As of right now, Aspyn does not know about her little sister and mentee (basically little sister, as well) being missing. But it's only a matter of time.

This is the start of a much more deadly game than we all thought it to be.

*Role-play in the Main Chain; it will take place for now at any time between 7:16 and 8:30 and it's just a lot of mixed feelings and reactions right now

Well, snowflakes, I know this is a tragic time, but that's why there's no better time to post than now.
Before you go running to the police; I did not to anything to those poor girls. And believe me when I say that if I did, you would know; it would be a blackmail of sorts if I were going to go for two innocent little girls.
I've never met for anyone to get hurt; at least not Presley and Kara. I have no vendetta against them. While I hate you all, I would never kidnap your two young-ins for no reason. So let it be known now, this has nothing to do with me.
Though, just because this happened, it doesn't mean I don't want to dish in on what's been happening, because trust me, even excluding this new breakthrough, there's a lot.
Let me start with the clear surprise of the time; Aspyn Arlington. Her instability was quite obvious to everyone. But attempting to take her own life? I don't think anyone saw that coming.
Who's to blame for this awful thing? Should we jump for the obvious of Queeney? After all, Aspyn's mental health clearly seemed to decrease after that falling out.
Or should we go for a more un-obvious answer. Presley Sage. The mentee of Aspyn. I'm aware it may be inappropriate for me to blame the girl with her missing and all, but when have I ever cared to be appropriate?
After the horrid betrayal the twelve-year-old took part in, her and Aspyn got into a fight which later expanded into Aspyn attempting to overdose, Presley being the one to find her unconscious mentor.
This seems like just another mystery of the Hills.
Moving on, Tony Smythe didn't seem very happy with y'all at that meeting. While I know, none of you know how I got the Olympics information. Maybe I hacked into the emails. But that seems very unlikely compared to one of you betraying the rest.
On the note of the Olympics, there's breaking news about Queeney's status. It seems the blonde resigned from her solo spot to "focus more on her pairs". We could believe what she said or look straight to the obvious; Miss Lexington was scared to lose.
One final thing to shout out to beloved Mason Lockwood. I would give up on trying to build that trust back to with lovely little innocent Shaylee. It seems to me that she isn't as innocent as she promised you.
Saving sex for marriage? For you? That's another promise from your little relationship that she didn't quite keep.
