The lonely Goddess Vert X Male Reader

A bright start

It's been a day since the firefight with the guy who attacked you. You and Vert are sleeping in the bed. Vert wakes up before you. She looks at you and smiles. She gives you a kiss and slowly gets out of the bed. She gets dressed and makes her way to the kitchen. She see Zoey sitting in the living room watching the TV. She notices Vert and smile's. 

Zoey: Hey good morning Ver-.

Before she can finish saying she's see that Vert looks different.

Zoey: Vert are you ok?

Vert: Of course dear. Why do you ask?

Zoey: Well I don't know how to explain it but you seem like your glowing.

Vert: What are you talking about dear?

Vert tilts her head confused.

Zoey: Well I'm not for sure. It just that your glowing to me. You seem to be really happy. Did something happen?

Vert: I don't think so. Well last me and-.

Vert stops herself from telling what happened last night.

Zoey: You and what?

Vert: Oh umm I was just happy your brother was a amazing cook.

Zoey: Oh ok. His cooking is really good. 

Vert: He's really talented.

Zoey: Yeah he always has cooked for me.

Vert: He's a very dependable man.

Vert smiles and turns around to the kitchen.

Vert:(Hmm. What did she mean by glowing?)

Vert stops and realizes something.

Vert:( Wait could it be that-)

Her thoughts get sidetracked when you walk in.

" Good morning Vert."

Vert: Oh good morning dear.

She walks up to you a gives you a kiss. You return the favor.

" You seem bright today Vert."

Vert: Yeah I was told that I was glowing by Zoey.

"Hmm I wonder why?"

Vert: Go relax ok I'll cook us some breakfast.

" Oh I'll help you out."

Vert gives you a warm smile.

Vert: Thank you dear.

The two of you finish making breakfast. You, Vert, and Zoey sit at the table and eat. Zoey keeps looking at Vert trying to figure out why Vert seems to be glowing this morning.

Zoey: (Just what is it?)

As Zoey was thinking there was a knock on the door. Vert gets up and answers it. 

Vert: Oh good morning Noire.

Noire: Morning Vert. I needed to talk to you about some plans.

Noire stops and looks at Vert.

Noire: Vert are you ok? You seem different for some reason. 

Vert: I'm fine Noire. I don't know why everybody is asking me that.

Noire: Well you just look brighter than usual.

Vert: That's not the first time I was told that this morning.

Noire scans Vert up and down. 

Vert: Umm whats the matter?

Noire's eyes widen as a thought crossed her mind.

Noire: Vert do you have any clue why you look like your glowing?

Vert: No I've been trying to figure that out.

Noire sighs.

Noire: Vert I want you to wait here until I get back ok.

Vert: Ok why?

Noire: I have a hunch that I know whats happening to you. And your happy attitude this morning adds to it. I'll be back in a little bit ok I'm going to the store to get something.

Vert: Ok I'll just be here.

Noire leaves and Vert shuts the door.

Vert: Hmm why does she suddenly want to help me? Well she said she thinks she knows why I am like this so I'll trust her to help figure it out. 

Vert ponders at the thought.

Vert: What is happening?
