Inexperience Debt Collector

There was a story in a small city in Indonesia, in there there was a little boy named Ken who lived with his brother, grandmother, and also his parents. He was jus tan ordinary boy with a normal life, but he had such an extreme hobby for boy in his age. He loved to ride a motocross which was bigger and taller than him. What’s more he was just 12, he was suppose to love some kind a kids stuff like riding bicycle, playing soccer, reading book etc. On the other hand, his brother loved to ride bicycle. Unlike another seventeen years boy who loved motorcycle, he really loved cycling. Well, thoose two brothers were truly a contradiction. Even if they were actually a contradiction, but Ken’s brother actually worried about him because he rode motocross that full with danger.

One day Ken’s mom asked me to do her a favor, it was actually a quite easy task to do for a young boy like him. So, his mom asked him to collect his neighbour’s debt. They had not been paying their debt for years. His mom had tried to ask them to pay their debt, but that time they said that they had not had money yet. Ken’s mom already bored to demand them to pay their debt so she asked Ken to do the task because he could ride his motocross and he loved to do it. At the first, Ken might refuse it cause he did not want it.

“Hey, Ken come here”

“What’s wrong mom ?”

“I want you to do me a favor, right now”

“What do you want me to dom om ?”

“I want you to collect our neighbour’s debt right now !!!”

“Why now ? It’s already dark mom”

“You can ride your motocross If you want to do it”

“Hmmmm”

“Come on just do it right now”

“Oh, Ok mom”

Well, eventually Ken wanted to doi t. So he went to his neighbour’s house to coolect the debt. But, when he arrived there he did not see anybody. The front door’s light already off and he did not see any other vehicle parked in the house, so he decided to go home without getting anything at all. He told his mother about the house’s condition, but his mother said

“What ? It is impossible if there is no people in there”

“There is no people in there mom, The front door’s light already off”

“But you haven’t checked the back door right ?”

“Yeah, I haven’t checke the backdoor”

“So, what are you waiting for ? Go back to that house and check the back door”

“Okay mom”

So, Ken went back to his neighbour’s house again and checked the back door. Luckily his mother was right and the back door was still open. Ken then knocked the back door then his neighbour came out and they had a little conversation there

“Excuse me madam, my mom asked me to come here”

“Oh, it’s you Ken. What do you want from me ?”

“Well, my mom told me that you need to pay your debt right now”

“I am sorry, but I haven’t had money yet”

“Okay, I’ll tell my mother”

“Thank you Ken”

“No need to say thank you, see you”

After having the conversation, Ken went home and spoke to his mother that his neighbour still hadn’t had money to pay the debt. Ken mother seemed to be disappointed by the attitude of her neighbour who always make a reason for not paying the debt. Ken’s mother then said

“Okay, up to them if they don’t want to pay it. But you still need to ask them again about it tomorrow okay”

“Huh ? Again ....?”

“Yes”

“Okay mom”

“Now, go to your bed and sleep”

“Okay mother”

Well, in the next day Ken came to his neighbour’s house and he kept getting the same answer. Ken felt really tired to do it. Otherwise he was not a real debt collector who knew how to make people to pay their debt. But that was his mother ordered so he did it even if the answer always be just the same and not changed.
