I Wish to Be Older

My name is Awal, and I am a seventeen-year old boy from Indonesia. Well, I do not have any job yet for now cause I am studying in a collage now. Actually, I could get a part time job but I am not a kinda  person who want to work under an order of someone else. I love to write something and share information on my personal blog, I share informations about drugs and the drawbacks.

As we know that drug is really irresistible for some typical of person because they need it to pleased themselves. If they have problems, they will use it to make themselves forget about it and feel really free. However, their brain will get the consequence of using it. Actually, I could get money from writing on my blog but I can’t. I have a story to explain the reason, so this is where it starts.

Once, I opened Youtube to watch some videoes about culinary world. But, I was a little bored at that time and I decided to watch something more interesting and more valuable for me. That’s why, I decided to learn “How to make money with your blog”. I found a big number of videos about making money with our blog, then I tried to watch one video. I learned that I could actually get money from my blog, I only needed to make Paypal and Google Adsense account. Paypal is actually a digital account, my payment would be sent to my Paypal account. Google Adsense is a media for a blogger to post an advertisement and Google will pay us for posting the advertisment. I was a little afraid to make a Paypal account cause it might be not free, so I asked for my Aunt’s help about Paypal.

“Auntie, could you do me a favor ?”

“What could I help you ?”

“Do you know anything about Paypal application ?”

“Well, not really. But if you need my help I will help you”

“Well, could you please then download Paypal application to your phone and signed up by yourself ?”

“Okay, I will do it. But you gotta need to wait till tomorrow”

“Why ?”

“Because, I have no internet access for now. I need to use my office’s wi-fi to have an internet connection”

“Okay, I could wait till tomorrow”

“Just wait me in your house tomorrow okay ?”

“Okay and thanks for helping me”

“No problem”

The next day I woke up really early just for waiting my Auntie came from her office. Although I woke early in the morning, my Auntie came tom y house in the afternoon. That was okay at least she downloaded the application, but there was something that she forgot to do about the Paypal and she told me about it.

“Here is the Paypal application” (she showed me her phone)

“Have you made your Paypal account ?”

“Oh, sorry I forgot to create my own Paypal account”

“Okay, I will send this application to my phone first”

“Sorry”

“That’s okay, at least I have the application”

A few moments later...

“I have sent it to my phone, but Unfortunately I cannot sign up for making an account for now”

“Why ?”

“Because I am still seventeen and we could only create an account if we were eighteen”

“So, what will you do ?”

“I do not know Auntie, maybe I will wait till next year”

“Be patient”

“Okay Auntie and thanks for spending your time to download this application for me Auntie”

“That’s not a big deal at all”

So, I couldn’t create a Paypal account and that was not the only bad news for me. I also tried to sign up for making a Google Adsense account so I could get a permission to post an advertisement inside my blog and got money from it. Unfortunately my google account did not fulfil the requirement to create a Google Adsense account. The reason was just the same with Paypal problem, cause I put real information about myself on my Google account I could not sign up for creating a Google Adsense acoount. So, on my age on my Google account was also seventeen like the reality and you know we could not also create a Google Adsense account Unless we were eighteen or more.

I was really pissed off because of that. I mean I couldn’t make money myself for now and that was just because I was seventeen, I mean just because of age I couldn’t make money myself. Come on, I wish I were eighteen now !!!
