I couldn't believe what I was hearing.Ive been tricked.I quickly got up and got my things and ran out.It was slowly turning into day but it was still highly dangerous.If it were full day , everything would be completely fine.

I quickly got up and grabbed all my food and my bag and ran as fast as I could.I left the store fast enough so she couldn't notice the cameras.As soon as I ran out the store,I ran all the way down the street,not caring who saw me.I was in a hurry to make it to the Brook.The Brook was the country part of England.It strictly had an electric barb wire face that separated itself from the Shreddings.

"That old lady loon was a complete madman !",I muttered to myself.How could I have been so foolish to even trust her from the start ?Oh well,atleast she didn't notice me.I finally made it to a close part to the Brook.This part close to it was much better than the beginning entrance to the Shreddings.I managed to slow down and take some deep breaths.To my surprise,it finally made it to day and it was 7 in the morning.And just my luck,I was straight in from of a bar.Goody goody gum drops.I walked over to the alley next to it,with some homeless men around a fire.I scattered over to then,surprisingly it was breezy today.

"Hey there lil' mama,how's it been ?",said a man with a ripped coat.

"The names not "Lil' Mama",it's Symphony Mirrors.Its a pleasure to meet you sir and I assure you,I'm not at my best".

"Hehe,guess we found ourselves a princess !"

"I'm not a princess,I have you know I'm running away and I'm in need of some money.Any of you know how to get any ?"The group gave each other a worried look.A woman with a ripped pink dress looked over to me."Oh lassy,we've hardly got any ourselves.How could we give or even help you on yer journey..?",she mumbled.I looked down,feeling selfish.I reached into my pocket and took out a stack of 200 and gave the four a fair share.They all gave a glance of pure tears to eachother but it disappeared as they handed the money back.

"Thank ye lass,but we don't need it..there are those who are..less fortunate than us.." I couldn't help but feel a jolt of anger through me."You four have ripped clothes,are homeless,and probably haven't had a filling meal in YEARS!Who could have it worse than your ?!"

One of the woman went in full on tears.A man with a dirty dress shirt,escorted me deeper into the alley,a strange mumbling getting louder.We finally made it to the end and in the corner,was a young girl with 'tangled hazel hair and in a pale blue dress,staring into a corner.The man slowly whispered into my ear.

"That's Alex.She's been homeless since she was 4.Her father sexually abused her and her mother was murdered,leaving her father to leave as well..."

I felt even more selfish than before.The man walked away leaving me with Alex.I slowly made my way to her,finally tapping her shoulder softly.

"A-Alex..? I'm Symphony and I'm here to help you.." With a raspy voice and to be cautious, she slowly turned around.She had a pretty face with freckles and nice green eyes to go along with.

"H-hello ma'am..I'm Alex..",she whispered in a soft tone.

"How are you?"

"I-im fine...",she answered.

I knew I couldn't leave her here.She was only so young..and so delicate..they were right..there are those who are less fortunate..I gently picked her up,but she started kicking around.

"W-what are you doing?!HELP ME! HEL-".I quickly covered her mouth and put her down.

"I'm here to help,Alex..I won't hurt you like they did.."

Alex gave a nervous look to the ground.She slowly mumbled out after what seemed like hours on end of silence. "C-can I..come with you..?"

I slowly gave a smile as I picked her up joyfully in the air and cradled her in my arms.

"Heh,let's get you a proper meal,Alex!"

For someone who lived in a miserable lifestyle,she managed to crack a smile through a stream of small tears.
