The act 1

Hello there, I'm a strange girl from Wales, my name is Katie, well Katie-Jayne, but you can call me Katie. I'm 15 years old, I'm 16 today, it's my birthday, I moved to LA when I was 14, since then I made a best friend, his name is Anthony, yes Anthony Reeves a.k.a luvanthony. He was my first friend when I moved here and has stuck by me all the time I was getting used to the place.

I was getting ready for school and I wore this:

Once I was ready, I grabbed my bag and took my iPhone 11 off charge and went downstairs. I didn't have enough time to speak to my family before I left because I heard Anthony outside in his car beeping for me to hurry my ass up, so I grabbed a drink and left. I saw that Payton was in the front seat, Payton is another bestie of mine, I walked to the car and saw him staring, I had a feeling that he likes me a little but I might be wrong. "Hey Welshie!" Anthony greeted me, he's called me that since we met. "Helo wyt ti'n iawn?" I asked, that means hello are you okay in welsh. "I never have a clue what you're saying" Payton said. "Okay, baby's sit in the back seat." I made fun of Payton's age, even though he's only 2 days younger than me. "Does babi was a booster seat?" I asked in a baby voice. He got so passed that he just climbed into the back seat. With Anthony's car he never puts the top up, it's always down, even when it's pissing down with rain. So to annoy him, as I always do, I climbed into the car and didn't use the door. "There's a door for a reason Welshie." Anthony said. "I know, but I love to piss you off." I replied, sarcastically. "Whatever" he sighed and we all laughed. He started the car and drove to school. I was dreading school because of the classes but that was all. It was my first day back after a while of going back to Wales to see my family, and to be honest I've changed a little since then, before I left I looked all nerdy, I had glasses and my hair was blonde and was always in 2 braids at the sides, I always wore sweats or leggings and a hoodie and never wore makeup, while I was away, my sister, Edele, who still lives down in Wales taught me how to do my makeup and dress cuter, she died my hair for me and we went on a shopping spree together. I also had changed in other ways too, my ass got bigger and so did other parts of me. (If you don't know where I'm going with this I mean the chest area 😂) so I looked a lot different.

It was also my birthday today, did I forget to say that? I didn't want anyone at school to know though, it's really nothing special, I don't like people making a fuss of me.

I was a little disappointed that Anthony didn't notice how much I changed. "By the way, damn girl!" Anthony complimented me, it was like he read my mind. "I have no idea what you're talking about." I replied sarcastically. "Girl you went from mute to cute!" Payton piped up. "Is that why you were staring at me when I came out of my house?" I questioned, looking at him in the mirror. He just stayed silent, sat back and looked outside the car. We just laughed at him and eventually he cracked a smile too.

When we got to school and parked we got out of the car and everyone was staring at us. "Why are they looking at us?" Payton asked. "Uh, actually, correction, why are they looking at you?" Payton corrected himself and asked me. "Because Welshie has changed since she left for Wales." Anthony answered. I actually felt happy that people noticed me, and not for being the nerd. "Don't worry I didn't forget your birthday, I won't mention it." Anthony whispered to me. I nodded my head to say thank you and walked into school with everyone staring at me.
