I was walking down the street on my way back home from Starbucks, at the corner of my eye, I saw a girl crouched down in an alley I walked by. I stopped in my tracks.

I wanted to know if she was okay, so I walked up to her, and got her attention. "Uh, hi. Are you alright?" I asked. She put her head up and looked at me.

She was the most gorgeous girl I've ever seen! Wow.

"Uh, me? Yeah I'm okay." She sniffed. I crouched next to her. "What are you doing in a creepy alley?" I asked. "Uh, I've been hiding from this group of guys." She replied. "What time is it?"

"Uh, 3:45, why?" I told her. "Yeah, I've been here for about four hours now." She said. "Seriously? Four?"

She nodded in response. "Well, what's your name?" I asked. "Y/n y/l/n. Yours?" She told me, where have I heard that name before? "Jaden, Jaden Hossler" I replied.

"Did those guys hurt you?" I asked. "Uh, yeah a little but I'm okay, I'm used to getting hurt by now." She replied, laughing nervously. "Where? Let me see."

She showed her wrist and there was a bruise, obviously where someone had grabbed her, she then showed that they had pushed her and her opposite arm was bleeding, so was her leg.

"Why don't you come back to my house? I'll help you get cleaned up?" I insisted.  "No, it's okay, I don't want to cause any trouble."

"You won't be, none of my friends will be home for another three hours. Seriously, I wanna help." I informed her. "It's literally just around the corner."

"Are you sure?" She double checked. "Of course."

"Alright, you seem too cute to kill me so..." she laughed. Even her laugh was amazing.

I helped her walk back to the sway house and, as I said, no one was home yet. I unlocked the place and I took her to the kitchen, got the first aid kit out of one of the cupboards and cleaned her cuts.

"Do you know what do weird?" I spoke. "What?" She asked. "I feel as if I know you from somewhere, did we go to school together?" I questioned. "Uh, I'm not sure, which school?" She asked.

"(Your school)" I replied. "Oh my god yes! I remember now! I'm sorry I've just forgotten a lot since those guys started attacking me." She chuckled nervously.

We had a full conversation about what we did after we left school and I found out that she had to live on the streets for a few months because her parents had abandoned her when she was little so she live with her oldest brother, but then he kicked her out.

Those guys that hurt her had been hurting her for that whole time, she had scars all over her arms and legs because of them (she couldn't get her wounds treated right so they scarred)

When the guys got back we were still in the kitchen, I was wrapping her hand in some bandage.

"Woah, who's the chick?" Griffin asked. "Oh hey guys! This is y/n, she's a friend from high school." I introduced y/n to everyone and they all greeted her and told her their names.
