Banging comes from the door. Joshua rushes over to it as a man yells from the other side, ❝Open the door!❞
❝Um sorry sir, I'm gonna have to respectfully ask you to chill out, ❞ Joshua snarks. Another hard slam makes him jump.
❝Fawn I said run!❞ Y/n calls out again.
Fawn stands still in the open space of the Union Hall, the alarms blaring their predictable pattern. ❝Buy me some time. I have an idea.❞
❝Are you insane? I'm not getting you killed! Now get out of there!❞
❝Y/n, I need you to trust me...❞
❝I said open the door!❞
Leo grabs a flashlight and motions for Joshua to move out of the way. He opens the door with a smile.
❝Sorry, we're closed,❞ he says before smashing the man's head with the metal light. He stares at the unconscious body and blinks a few times. ❝Welp, he's done.❞
❝Can we focus please?❞ y/n says harshly.
❝Y/n? Do you trust me?❞ Fawn repeats, louder.
Y/n looks again over the camera feeds. Tons of armed men and women walk towards the main hall. She shuts her eyes and takes a deep breath, thinking back to simpler times, remembering what makes this all worth it. She opens her eyes.
❝Yes.❞
