"I love you. Remember that, okay?"
She sighed, loudly, as if Zach was there, almost wanting to cry as she had held his guitar pick in between her fingers. The pick that he had used to strum a simple melody for her while also singing along.
But we all know that he doesn't sing.
Only for her.
"I hope you know that I love you, too." She knelt down, placing the pick just in front of the tombstone.
She didn't bring flowers, But only herself, and Jesse.
She placed her other knee on the ground, which became cold all of a sudden, and sat for a couple minutes, just staring at the tombstone.

21 years of age
She licked the bottom her lip, softly while standing up. Her head turned to Jesse quickly.
He didn't smile, but stared at her in deep concern.
"I miss him, so much. I wish I was the one who would've died, I deserve to. I made so many mistakes in my life..." She moved her eyesight back to the tombstone,"My worst mistake was him."

"You're actually pretty unique," Ness smiled as they walked out of the humungous party which was pathetically happening in Zach's own house,"For a guy at least." They stopped in his driveway.
"How?" He anxiously put his hands into the pockets of his sweater while raising an eyebrow.
She crinkled her forehead, thinking for a minute before replying,"You're shy. Quiet. Most of the guys I have met are always chatting non-stop. But you. . . You actually let me finish a sentence."
"You haven't seen the real me, then," He easily smiled,"I'm pretty sassy."
Ness giggled,"I guess you're not unique then?"
"Cmon, we just met like 20 minutes ago, you'll see my other 'sides' as soon as we're best buds."
The corners of her mouth arose pleasantly.

They both were still there, at the graveyard, for about an hour by now. They didn't complain at all, or at least Jesse didn't. He was completely fine coming to comfort Ness.
"I think it's time for us to go, after all," She rose her head to the sky and back to Jesse,"It's late."
The sky was completely black. Filled with glistening white stars across that gleamed through her hazel eyes.
There wasn't any colour of grey, just black and white. The perfect night.
Would be the perfect night, to look out at the stars with Zach again.
Jesse grasped onto her hand leading her the way to his car. He had let go as soon as they reached his car, her hand completely numb from the coldness of that night.
Jesse swept off his favourite leather jacket, handing it to her,"Here..."
She smiled lightly receiving the jacket and slipped it on so she would be completely warm.
They both had entered the car.
Jesse started the motor.
Ness left herself gazing out the window, and stared for the last bit of seconds she could see a piece of Zach.
