Y O U  I N  M Y  E Y E S

Say, do you see me?
Because I do. I see you.
Although I'm not able to see you around a lot,
The few times I see you,
My heart is at its happiest.

Say, have you ever heard my name?
Because I have.
Your voice was music from the heavens
When you told me your name.
I tried not to falter when I told you my name
Do you still remember it?

It's okay if you don't. Really.
I don't really expect you to do so.
Why, you ask?
(Or you may not. Which is okay aswell)
It's simple, actually.

You dashed me.
Your smile left a mark in my memory.
I know you will never read the words being written on this paper,
Because I would never allow myself to give it to you.

You're beautiful,
In the most humane way.
But you and I don't belong in the same picture.
If, by a chance, we get to meet in the future,
I will promise you this:
I will try to get you learn my name, the way I learned yours.
