"Where the hell were you kids tonight?"

Damn. This was the question both Billy and Katrina knew they'd be hearing but somehow, they'd gotten so caught up in the whole thing they'd forgotten to make up a story.

"We were just staying over at Teddy's and..." Billy began.

"Don't lie to us! We called Teddy's mother. She said she hadn't seen him either. So why don't you tell us where you really were?" Maria was furious and the siblings knew there was no arguing with her in this state.

After sighing, Katrina finally spoke up. "Okay. We walked by a church, there was a ruckus and some shooting and we just felt we had to do something. We couldn't just let people get hurt."

"No way! You went on a vigilante mission without me?" Tommy said, sounding both amazed and a little disappointed.

"Call it your reward for ditching school." Billy said and Maria's eyes flared up.

"You WHAT?!"

Tommy's cocky smirk disappeared and was replaced by a look of fear. "Oh crap."

"That's it, you're all grounded!" Maria said angrily before walking out of the kitchen. "I'm going to bed." She said as she left them alone.

"Boys, I will fucking murder you for this." Katrina growled between clenched teeth.

"I don't want to go to therapy, Janet!" Cassie said angrily as she sat in the passenger seat of Janet Van Dyne's Jaguar. They'd had this discussion several times since the funeral but Janet insisted.

"I know how you're feeling. I was the same when Hank died. I went to therapy because I knew I had to be strong for Henry and Hope and I wasn't too proud to admit I needed help. But you can trust Andrew. Even with Scott's secrets. Nothing you say will ever leave his office."

"Fine."

Cassie sat down in the waiting room and twirled her golden locks impatiently. Apparently the wait was going to be 30 minutes. She looked at the table for anything worth reading. Nothing but outdated gossip magazines from weeks ago. The girl sitting next to her was scrolling through her phone. Cassie pulled out her phone...and nearly broke down crying when the lock screen picture of her and her dad appeared.

The black-haired girl on the phone looked up slightly. "You okay?"

"Yeah. Yeah, just... Bad week. Having a bad week."

"Aren't we all?" The girl replied, turning her attention back to her phone.

"Um... I'm Cassie, by the way." Cassie said, figuring that starting up a conversation was better than just waiting all that time in silence.

"Kate." The girl replied, not taking her eyes off the phone.

Cassie smiled and then noticed an issue of the Daily Bugle from the week before.

Young Avengers? - A story by Jessica Jones

"What's this?" She skimmed through the story.

Avengers spokesman Rick Jones has revealed that while opinion on those kids is somewhat mixed within the Avengers, they cannot officially condone them and further comments from Captain America himself have urged those kids to step down and walk away as superhero work is dangerous and someone could get hurt. The Avengers themselves are currently mourning the loss of Ant-Man, who was killed in ac-
