Tony sighed as he sat at his desk in the lab.
Bruce glanced over top of his laptop, "Nothing? "
Tony huffed, " Bruce it's been almost 5 years and we still don't have a lead. "
Bruce sighed, "I know. I think about her every day. I don't know how she just disappeared. "
Bruce was right. It didn't make any sense. How can someone just disappear?
Jasmine adored the team. Her life revolved around helping them. She wouldn't just up and leave.
She especially wouldn't leave Laila. Every time she got the chance to spend time with her, she did.
"It just pisses me off so bad. I don't get how there hasn't been any sign of her. " Tony said angrily.
"I don't get it either. We're using every resource we have. " Bruce said sighing as he leaned back in his chair.
"We need to try harder. Things haven't been the same since she disappeared. " Tony said standing up.
"I hate to interrupt but there's a little girl who wants to spend tomorrow with her favorite heroes. " Natasha said smirking as she stood in the door way.
Tony smiled, "Tell Laila to be here at 8 am. "
Natasha smiled, "She's going to be so happy. "
The team didn't realize how much would change over the next two days.
