"I'm back. Just in time for the king." Deras said as he rode his horse, Silver, into his family's land. He stopped in front of the main building as his older brother walked out with a big smile. "Brother." Ned greeted as Deras got off his horse. Deras smiled back and met Ned half way for a hug. "Its been too long brother." Deras responded. Ned held Deras at arms length. "What brings you here?" "Well, I heard Robert is coming, and I'd say if he's coming, that means so is the Kingslayer." Deras said with a laugh. "Well, you're just in time." Ned told him. "Uncle!" Separate voices called. Deras looked left and saw his nieces and nephews running up to him. "Well if it isn't the kids." Deras greeted with a smile. He knelt down and hugged Bran and Rickon. "Hello my little warriors." He greeted them. "He looked over at his youngest niece. "Arya." He said looking at her. He hugged her and then held her at arms length. "Your father's told me you've been a little troublemaker." He told Arya sternly. "Im sorry Uncle Deras." Arya said looking down. "Don't be. I was the same way." Deras said and tussled her hair. Arya smiled. "Find me in a few days. I'll teach you to swordfight." Deras whispered to her. She smiled and nodded. Deras stood up and looked at his older niece. "Sansa." "Uncle Deras." She greeted. "I bought you a new dress." Deras said and gave it to her. It was a beautiful white dress. "Thank you, uncle." Sansa thanked with a smile. Deras smiled and looked up. "Robb." Deras greeted. "Uncle Deras." Robb greeted back. "Look at you. Pretty soon we'll be going to war together." Robb smiled. "And to do so you'll need this." Deras handed Robb a sheath with a sword in it. "Made by the finest blacksmiths in the seven kingdoms. I don't need it because I got Oathkeeper." Deras turned to the building and saw another familiar face. "Catelyn." He said and walked over As he engulfed her in a hug, which she gladly returned. "Hello Deras." Catelyn greeted back. "Its good to see you." "You too." They released and Deras at his nieces and nephews. "Run along, kids." Deras told them and they nodded and walked away. "Now. Let's catch up." Deras said.

"So I told the man. "That wasn't a woman's cunt, that was a pig's asshole." Deras finished his story as he and Ned broke out into laughter. Catelyn slapped Ned's chest and Deras laughed harder as Ned stopped laughing. "Your wife has you by the balls." He told Ned. "I seem to recall you having something similar before the war ended." Deras stopped laughing and gave off a sad smile. "Well, that was years ago. She's married." Deras said and kept walking with the two.

Everyone was now in line. Waiting for the king. "Where's Arya?" Catelyn asked. She turned to Sansa. "Sansa, where's your sister?" Sansa shrugged. Then Arya ran over with a helmet on. Ned grabbed her arm. "Hey, hey, hey, hey." He halted her. "What are you doing with that on?" He lifted the helmet off and Deras chuckled. "Go on." Deras told Arya as she stood next to Sansa. Ned gave the helmet to someone. The horses pulled up and then the carriage came in with more horses following. The king came into sight and everyone kneeled except Deras which resulted in a gasp and the knights grabbed the hilt of their swords in case of trouble. The king got off his horse and walked over to Ned and Deras. He gestured for Ned to stand and gave Deras a look. Ned stood up and he and Deras had a stare down with the king as everyone else stood up. "Your grace." The brothers greeted. "You've got fat." The king told Ned as Ned gave him a look that said the same thing about him. Deras had less tact. "He did? Look at you, Robert." Deras said, earning more gasps. Next thing anyone knows, the three broke into a large bout of laughter. Robert and Ned hugged and pulled back and Robert and Deras embraced. Robert pulled back and hugged Catelyn. "Cat!" He greeted. "Your Grace."she greeted back. He pulled back and ruffled Rickon's hair and walked back in front of Ned and Deras. "Nine years... Why haven't I seen you? Where the hell have you two been?" Robert asked the brothers. "Guarding the North for you, Your Grace. Winterfell is yours." Ned responded. "I've been travelling. Bout 4 years now." Deras then lost his train of thought as he saw a woman exiting the carriage and smiled. As Robert greeted the Stark children, the woman noticed Deras and smiled. But he looked at the little girl and frowned. But he quickly covered up and kept looking at the woman with a smile. He walked over to her and she raised her hand he kneeled and kissed her knuckles. He let go of her hand stood up. "Hello, Cersei." Deras greeted. He looked down at the little girl. "And who is this?" He asked with a smile. The little girl looked up at him. "This is Myrcella." Cersei told him. "Hello." Myrcella greeted. "Hi, sweetheart." Deras greeted. "I'm Deras." Deras looked at Cersei with a smile. "She looks just like you." Deras told the queen. "I know. I love her with all my heart. Just like my other children." Cersei told him. Then he looked over and his smile grew when he saw the soldier taking his helmet off. "Jaime Lannister." Deras greeted as Jaime got off his horse. Jaime looked over with just as big a smile. He started walking and they met with a big hug. "Deras, my friend." Jaime greeted. They held each other at arms length. "You look great." Deras said. "As do you." Jaime returned. "Love the eye patch." Deras chuckled. "Well it is in season." Deras told him. Now they shared a full laugh and let go. "Take me to your crypt. I want to pay my respects." Robert commanded Ned. "We've been riding for a month, my love." Cersei said. "Surely the dead can wait." "Come, Robert. We should share a drink first." Deras pleaded. "Ned." Robert ordered and walked off. Ned looked at Cersei and walked after Robert. "I'm sorry, my lady." Deras told Cersei. "It is alright, Deras." Cersei said and smiled at him. Cersei and Deras walked over to Jaime. "Where's the imp?" Arya asked her siblings. Cersei heard and walked over to Jaime "Where is our brother?" Cersei asked. "Go and find the little beast." "My queen?" Cersei looked at the voice and saw Deras looking at her with a smile. "Yes, Deras?" She answered. "May I escort you to your chambers?" Deras asked her with an arm out. Cersei nodded and looped arms with Deras and walked away.
