"Let's eat I'm starving," said John's uncle. It's the first thing he has said since we left John's house. "Me 2" said John. "Let's try this place, ssssuuuuubbbbwwwaaayyy." Peter replied slowly trying to sound it out. "I think it's sebwey." john remarked with a little attitude. "Whatever it's called, let's just eat." John's uncle said a little frustrated. They walked over to subway and Peter ordered first. "Can I have ham, ttturkey, and bbbbaaaaccccooonn?"said Peter kinda shy. "Toasted?"replied the man. Peter replied "yes?" Peter was kinda scared, he never used the term toasted, well for a sand which. They all finished ordering their sandwiches, when they unwrapped them they just stared at them. It didn't look like any kind of food they are at home. They took a bite..... And LOVED it. They didn't think anything could taste better than their food. John's uncle called their shuttle to come pick them up. "Hi, our shuttle was supposed to be here like 20 minutes ago and hasn't arrived.
"Today is 4th of July sir, we don't work on holidays. Even holidays that aren't very popular like 'national wear blue day' I'm sorry."replied the lying man.
"That's stupid! I'm never using this shuttle service again!"
John's uncle looked at the boys with a disappointed look and shook his head. John's eyes brightened as he pulled out his phone. He dialed a number and put the phone up to his ear.
"Hello?"said the person on the other line.
"Hi dad it's john."
"John! My boy, are u here? R u close to the house?
"Not quite dad, our shuttle didn't come I was wondering if u could come pick us up?
"Of course anything for u."
They both hung up and john gave Peter a happy smile. About 10 minutes later John's dad walked in the sliding doors to the airport. John turned and saw his dad. His eyes started filling with tears, not tears of sadness but tears of joy. He ran to his dad and gave him a big hug. Peter saw that their wasn't anyone else in the car. He was hoping his dad came too. Peter got in the car and was so excited to see his dad he couldn't sit still. The whole way there he was bouncing up and down in his seat. The car pulled into the drive way....
