At the end of the prayer Peter felt different. He felt as if he was a new boy and he started again. Then questions started flooding in his head. Will john accept? What if I'm not a good Christian? What will john think of me? What will my mom think? What- he was interrupted by his father, "I'm so glad u want God to be your forever friend!" "Me two dad! So how do u get to heaven? What good works do u have to do?"replied Peter. "It isn't like Islam, u just have to believer that God is the only God and he sent His Son to die on the cross for our sins. And that Jesus, Gods Son, rose again on the third day after being crucified." Peter's dad replied. Peter had a shocked look on his face. He always grew up with rules to follow to go to Heaven. He was ready for a new start with God. He was read to forget about Islam and be born again as he heard his dad say so many times about being born again. He ran downstairs and continued eating his new waffles.
