Nugget slowly sat up in his bed. It was still the weekend. Sunday. And his dad's friends always came over on Sunday. Nugget looked around his room sleepily, laying back down. That's when he noticed the orange bottle beside his bed. Curious, he picks it up from the nightstand. There isn't a label other than 'Take your pills Noah.' In a more messy version of his mom's handwriting. He trusted his mom. But she had not said anything about getting him any form of medication. She was only off on Saturdays. It wasn't like he could ask her. He shrugged, trying to open it for a minute. " Stupid child proof caps." He mumbled before finally getting it open. He barely remebered the stuff that happened in kindergarten. He was five and he was a pill popper. They had already done their work. He shrugged, taking one out and putting it under his tongue. He placed the bottle down again, getting up. He decided to get dressed. He put on a red button up he had and the casual pair of jeans. He was starting to feel kinda woozy. But he was tired so he brushed it off. He made his way to the kitchen. " Did you take the pill your mother gave you?" He had asked, looking towards him. " Yeah. I did. Why?" His dad just smile. His phone then went off. " Well. Noah you better go answer that." Nugget nodded, quickly going back upstairs. He grabbed his phone off the charger and answered it, it was, of course, Billy. " Hey Nugget." He greeted. " Hi Billy." Nugget had said quickly after. " How has your day been so far?" Billy had asked sweetly. " It was fine, I guess." Billy went silent after that. " Did I say something wrong?" He asked, genuinely confused. " You're speaking- um- normally." He has said after a minute " What did you do, Nugget?" He has asked quickly. " Well. My mom gave me a pill for-" He was cut off by Billy saying " Oh shit that isn't good." Followed by him calling for Lily that something was wrong. Lily had opened the door. " What Billy?" She asked, crossing her arms. " Nugget's speaking weird." Billy said, Nugget heard Lily walk over. " Nugget. Tell her what you did today." He said, sounding more serious. " Um- I woke up and-" Lily had gasped. " He's talking normally!" Billy shushed her. " My mom had left me a bottle of pills for-" She gasped again. " Oh no. This isn't good Billy. Nugget! Come over and take the pills with you." She had said before hanging up. Nugget grabbed the pills and putting it into his pocket. He walked down stairs. " Dad. I'm going to go out. See you in a bit." He said, leaving the house. He barely remembered what had happened the night before with his dad. He made his way down the street to the twin's house. He knocked on the door. Billy answered, wearing a suit basically without the coat. His hair was actually done back " Come in Nugget." He said and Nugget did just so. Lily came downstairs, also wearing a somewhat fancy yellow dress. " We were supposed to go to church today but this is more important." Lily had said, holding out her hand. " Pills " She demanded but Nugget couldn't take her seriously in her Sunday best. He did so anyways. " So you took one of these? " Nugget nodded. " Did you forget anything?" Billy had asked before Lily elbowed him in the arm. " He won't be able to tell us if he forgot something." Nugget laughed a little. " But should we tell him what happened in kindergarten?" Lily had asked in a loud whisper. Billy nodded. " Nugget. Billy went missing in kindergarten." Nugget nodded. " I know." Lily looking to Billy. " He remembers that. Anyways. The principal gave you pills. Like these." She said, putting them into Nugget's pocket. " And they made you forget about him. " Nugget nodded along as she spoke. He wondered if she remembered him being creepy in kindergarten. He remembered that. " Don't take the pills. Find out who gave them to you and text us."
It's been a week since that day. And Nugget is confused. He actually doesn't remember that very well but Lily texted him that. The only thing he found out was that his dad was behind giving him the pills, not his mom. Not where he got it from. Nothing at all. God Nugget was a terrible spy. Lily said the pills were supposed to help the clinically awkward. Which probably was what Nugget was but he didn't know what that meant. He had to take the pills. His day could tell when he hadn't.
Nothing really major had gone on since that day where Lily told them everything. But then. Nugget had gotten an Amber alert on his phone.Billy Davis. Last seen on xxxxxxxx road. 11:57 pm Saturday September 15th 2021. Please report at xxx-xxx-xxxx if seen. More info at www.xxxxxxx.gov
