Interhigh Tournament
Murasakibara and I have been together for only a week, and everyone has found out the day of school.
"Oh my goodness you and Atsushi are so cute together!"
"Atsushi kun is so adorable I wish I could've been the one he chose."
"Mukkun and you will make perfect kids you know!"
"I hope you two get married!"
More and more people quickly found out but I never cared. I loved having Murasakibara as mine, but right now, it wasn't the time for romance. The interhigh tournament was going on and we were planning to go to the winter cup, we were going to be the best in Japan, no matter what happens, we would win.
Yosen was put up against teams that I've never heard of before, but even when we weren't playing, I would watch other teams play their games. Only a few stuck out, and it turned out, these other boys that I found out about by watching, we're from Murasakibara's old team in middle school known as the Generation of Miracles.
"Their too good, maybe our team needs to pick up the pace..." I softly say, studying the play book that Coach had given to me. I grip it to the desk and stand from my desk. "We will win..."
"I have to go somewhere." Murasakibara said to the team as we were sitting in the bleachers.
"What are you talking about? We're studying these teams, atsushi." Himuro says, he looks at him. Coach looks at him, a little skeptical. Mura chan gets up, and walks out of the bleachers.
"Go follow him." Coach said to me whispering. "Don't let him see you, be quiet and calm." She says and I nod following him. I hide behind the crowd of people inside and outside of the interhigh tournament building. I follow only a foot behind until he reaches steps, with other members for the old generation of miracles. Kise, Midorima, Kuroko, Aomine and now Murasakibara. I stand behind a wall where no one sees. Kuroko was accompanied by another one of his members, and he looked scared.
"Baka...." I say and watch as Murasakibara opens a chip bag and talks with the other people. A few minutes pass, and a smaller boy with red hair comes, it was Akashi the captain of the generation of miracles. He stood there for a moment and another boy came up to the group, i had to be there. Kagami Taiga was his name and he stood by Kuroko, they were team mates.
I slowly walked up, and Akashi looked down at me, a wicked grin spreading across his face.
"Who is this little Kawaii child?" He said, ever so slowly walking down the steps. I felt Murasakibara's arm around me protectively.
"Don't lay a finger on her." The other boys looked shock, and for some reason Kagami too.
"I wouldn't dare touch your little toy, Atsushi. But I must say, she's a pretty one." He puts his hand to his chin and grins wider. Murasakibara bites his bottom lip and stares at him. I finally had the urge to say something.
"Why thank you. Mura chan thinks so as well. I'm much of an item at my school." The words came off sarcastic and everyone, including Akashi turns pale.
"Are you being sarcastic with me?" Akashi says, his eyes growing dark.
"Aria..." Mura Chan's voice grew quiet. And I slowly walk up a stair, away from his protective arm.
"So what if I am? What are you going to do? And besides you don't have the guts to hurt a coach do you?"
"Your a coach?" Kise Kun's voice pipes up and Akashi grows silent.
"Yeah I am. And I won't let you scare me Akashi." My voice is strong, I felt out of body, out of my character, and I knew it wasn't me saying these things. My mother was with me, making me strong, making me not afraid.
